Is 1st the one who kept getting everything right about the novel or the one that kept getting everything wrong about the novel.
Best comment: koddychi: "OMM(I'll abbreviate his name for now)" which is of course easier to write than Old Man Mo. x D And someone please correct wanderer for me like this: should've = should fucking have should of = you're a fucking idiot Thanks.
People bitching about translation issues or people bitching about getting the story wrong? Both seen on Qidian (TM).
People who read the chapter or novel with full seriousness and analyse it and those who just read them for a fun pass time.
Oh, I see, then I'm the type that reads for fun. If I started to take Chinese fluff too seriously, I'd just get a headache... especially when the author trips on his own fluff. "And the planet had gazillions of people staring at stones that were millions of miles wide.... " -> a lot of people look at big stones
Aren't most commenters of the first category then? I am definitely an analyzer. I think most people who comment anything other than your standard "thanks for the chapter" or equivalent are somewhat serious and analytical readers. Oh, you edited the picture. I get it now. Definitely the first type of reader.
Yeah, or in my case I did once comment on a funny word choice that gave me the impression that the magic spell was formed of liquid excrement. It was basically a round-about reference to yellow snow... You know, a friendly warning to the author that his writing might be misunderstood that way...
If by friendly warning you mean making fun of him then yes i do that too edit: i remember one instance of a translator using 'breaking wind' technique or something. I commented how do you train it, by having your finger pulled?
Well, I prefer to take the soft approach in those cases and keep it at the tone of a constructive suggestion... after all, I was catered to some good time and a funny mental image. Edit: And with my sick mind, once the switch is flipped, it becomes way too easy to find indecent double entendres.
