Hm... maybe copying sounds and voices? I think doing that with sound manipulation alone would not work well.
He wouldn't really need it, he has persuasion for that to where he can convince others to do things for him, he wouldn't need to mimic when he has the real deal under his control, manipulate their voice with his power.
Not just mimicking voices, but also recording conversations (good for blackmailing), or sounds like gunfire or thunder. It does have its uses, but it's your decision. Maybe just something simple like superhearing could work too. Or being able to charge up his next attack/power usage while not moving and concentrating?
Like I said, he doesn't need to blackmail when he has persuasion in which he is able to control and convince people with his voice alone.
It's not like it will always work without problems or no one has some sort of immunity. Also, does it also work indirectly, like when being transmitted per radio? Because that would be quite OP. Echolation most likely is included in sound manipulation too?
This guy is a supervillain, with persuasion and sound manipulation. Here's the link for Persuasion - Look at capabilities. http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Persuasion Echolocation is under Sound Manipulation. To this guy, Sound is essentially linked to all his senses and is his 6th sense.
Oh, there is something like that? Never knew that existed. And if sound manipulation is that wide, then the third power can only indirectly be connected to sound. OR you just don't take a third ability.
*Snickers as I've found the power I was looking for that complements the supervillain* Replication. One's the ability that affects something, the other is an ability to use something in conjunction with things, and finally, the last ability is an ability that creates more sources of said something. Replication benefits those two abilities as being in two places at once is good but being in many is just even better. It also allows him to be active while being inactive. This is the net that makes the supervillain in operation.
So he can replicate? How real are the replicas? Can he just become 10000 and move them all at once with no problems, or is he limited to his single brain to control all of them? If a replica gets hurt, does he feel it? What happens if many die at once?
I'll be getting into that once I start working on his powers, backstory, traits, and whatnot. I can't explain everything to you that's like in the way of me not making my character.
Alright. ^^ Well, with you picking the superpowers first, that's a bit what it looked like. I personally always start with the backstory and let the rest follow naturally.
Name: Abigail Elwyn Superhero Name: White Iris Backstory: A girl who awakened her powers suddenly when she was twelve, and due to the fact that she couldn't control it at all at that time, she ended up driving both her parents to madness. Scared of the sudden event and influncied by her powers drawbacks, the rest of her family were unwilling to take care of her, sending her to an orphanage. Even so, she still had to deal with the harsh treatment that came along with her powers. After some years, she was picked up by one of her aunts who was willing to take care of her. As soon as she left the orphanage, she decided to use her power, which she had some control over, to become a hero in hope that she'd be better treated if she were one. Power(s): Accursed Empathy - Her power is to sense the feeling of the people around her, and to a certain extent, know their intentions. But in exchange, she exudes an aura which inspires hatred against her when she uses this power, making her feel like a threat. Pain Inducement - She's able to induce pain in one or more targets if one or more of the conditions are met: When she's under great stress, when really angered or when she is suffering with pain herself. Madness Inducement - When all three conditions for her pain inducement are fulfilled, she can induce mental unstability in her target(s), but will suffer from the same effect as well. The effects of the madness in her wear out with time, unlike with her targets. Weakness: Can't really control her empathy powers, leading to it being constantly active. If she uses her inducement powers for too long, she'll start to suffer from mental fatigue, and if she uses too much, she faints. Once she loses it with the Madness Inducement, she can't control herself, and only stops once knocked out (either by mental exhaustion or other factors). Personality: She's naive, caring and a little clumsy. Developed a inferiority complex due to the drawbacks of her power. Easily manipulated. Traits: Height: 150 cm Weight: 44 Kg Skin Color: Pale white. Hair Color: Blonde. Hair Style: Long and straight. Eye Color: Light blue. Race: European Hero Ranking: B
