It's the same story anyways with other popular free online game. If you worry about this, you might as well not play online multiplayer games at all. 1.6 huh. Doable but it could be better. I've seen my friend run it on a potato laptop. And asking about mouse is like asking for the small things before trying. Just play it first then think about it. It is free afterall. If it lags you can stop and uninstall back, once you play a bit you know what input(mouse/keyboard) setting you want or need.
drop frames* lag is dependent on wifi. you could still by a quarter decent in low frames. but it could end up being like a slideshow if you have a bad rig

I doubt that, people still play counter strike 1.6 which came out 18 years ago. I even played it a while ago, the graphics may not be shiny but they're pretty good actually. It's great for people with bad pc's, slow net, or ones just feeling nostalgic for a legendary game.
