Im looking for stories where the cultivation premise is the comprehension of the Dao (Tao, Way, Divine Law etc) (can be later in the novel). Based on what part of the Dao you comprehended (space, time, water etc) you are stronger/weaker compared to others or could be how many daos youve mastered. Doesnt really matter as long as there's some fleshed out comprehension involved and not just "absorbing qi in different ways until my pores bleed out black stuff" I Eat Tomatoes novels usually have this but Ive read them all. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Examples: Desolate Era, Lord Xue Ying, Coiling Dragon, Spiritual attainment of Minghe etc
Er Gen novels probably fit this, i know i shall shall the heavens had some of this stuff, MC even comprehend a bit of karma laws later, A Will Eternal i don’t remember if it has or not. For more ridiculous the name sound, Upgrade Specialist in Another World has it too and MC, because of plot armor, even infuse in the current world a new law. Blue Phoenix i think had some of this too. Funny, now that i think, this trait in no els is more uncommon that i thought, when i started to answer my first thought was “many novels will be like this”.
