I wanted to recommend a tea I drink. When at home I drink Jasmine tea, but if I’m out about. I get a Starbucks Emperors tea. It helps me with my throat and makes me feel better
Is that another substitute for caffeine? To make ginger tea? Well, you clean the ginger first, you can hammer it down (to get more juice) or if you're too lazy to, just cut a lot of ginger slices. Then you boil tea, any kind of tea, anyway, boil the tea inside the boiling water, wait until it has become tea (wth am I saying). Anyway, after it looks brown (if your tea is brown), then you put the ginger slices there. If you like it to be sweet, then add honey or brown/palm sugar. Wait again for a few minutes, then it's done
From the looks of it, yes but it might be too strong. Caffeine has never kept me up for 2 days straight. You can experiment if you want, those Chinese medicine shops might sell it though I have no idea how to go about it, I only got that one capsule on a dare.

realky? damn starbucks wow i never thought u would boil tea leafs xd but noted i guess it realy is scary, ginseng is a med material so it shouldn't be consumed recklessly
Yup...with lots of pepper.....add more boney stuffs....the essence is in the marrows. XD. Ok it does help though. Idk if it scientifically true but I love chicken soup when I'm feeling ill or something.
What’s wrong with Starbucks? I mean they make terrible hot chocolate, but you can’t have everything. Lol
Drink lots of water. Everyone's body is different but for me it works in getting rid of the toxins. Just blow my nose a lot! So have a handkerchief and lots of tissues handy if you're going out.
Everything is wrong with Starbucks when their small green tea cup cost me almost 4$ I think so, i do that lot too
You can also try boiled coke with ginger and lemon, it's pretty self explanatory- just slice some lemons, slice some ginger, add to coke and let it boil a few minutes before drinking. Tastes pretty good
Med student here, everything mentioned by other people is just crap powered by hopes and dreams. All they do is alleviate a bit your symptoms while your helper T cells do their job. Legit advice would be to avoid anti-inflammatory drugs. Fevers were designed to help you. Take advantage of that.
Antiviral drugs are about the only thing that affects a cold. And even they just shave off a small bit of time for an average case, and have a time window to be most effective.
I honestly thought this is some shitty ad from the title I take Vitamin C supplements but yeah I have dust allergy so it sucks. I drink room temp water a lot, only because I don't like cold water much. I prefer warm but there are days it's too hot for warm water.
Fastest way is to sleep. It is said that there is no real cure for cold. All doctors can prescribe are antiviral medications to reduce the virus in your system. What matters is your body's ability to develop antibodies for it. So just drink lots of water and get proper rest. Your body needs 1-3 days to develop the antibody for the common cold. If your sore throat has nothing to do with cold though, and you somehow felt sore throat when you wake up, try covering your neck with a piece of cloth when you go to sleep, such as a towel. If you don't have a cold when you have sore throat, it's probably because your neck gets blasted with air from the fan.
