I'm retranslating the prequel series right now since the original translation wasn't the best, to say the least, and will pick up Daiden as soon as that's done. It'll take awhile since the original series is 11 volumes, but I have to start with it for my own sanity lol.

 

Given the release pace of yours that will not be 2,000 words per day(Average web novel chapter length)
You can just read the raws of the prequel.
100% accuracy is not required. The previous translator was not a publisher.
I am sure another translator who is more skilled than you will also find your work not up to par.
It is rather pointless and probably stupid to re translate the prequel.
You can read the raws if you need to familiarize yourself.
But if you are doing this to inflate your ego, then go ahead.

 

My goal is to translate a series I love, not rush out translations that I myself don't even like. But we all have different priorities, so if you want to translate it faster then be my guest. The more ways to enjoy it the better.
