    As the title suggests, please do recommend me novels that have resemblence to Western Fantasy settings and fit at least one of the following criterias:
    • Society has either completely crumbled, or is scarce.
    • The world is in dire state or is in a state of slowly decaying.

    Wheel of Time series.
    Though the whole society crumbling only happens much towards the end.

    As for others... most isekais that could be considered dystopic tend to have some light at some place, so they're not entirely hopeless.
