DDos Protection by Cloudflare Question

    Been a few days now when i try to enter nu site i keep getting checking your browser will be redirected within 5secs thingy but it takes too long to enter sometime takes around 30secs or more

    It once kept me loading for more than a minute on mobile. So I just shut it down and waited until I could use my computer.
    And yes I had Javascript on.

    So I understand your pain haha.

    Edit: though it makes sense to have ddos protection, sites like these are usually the ones targeted. Then it'll take longer for them to fix it rather than the wait to get into the site.

    I experience it too (only on mobile).. I really thought it was because of a slow internet, since it loads faster every time our internet is fast..||- -) if it takes too long, I close it and try again after a while.

    if the problem persist check if you are infected with something. i had the same problem a while back , after i did a scan (found some spywares or such and deleted them) problem disappeared. This is of course only one of the many possible reasons but i thought i should mention just in case.

    Always been up to 5 seconds for me.
    It's not a problem with NU but it is a problem with U.

    Even during my slowest time of the day it loads fast.
    Clear your caches. Im using mobile.
    Even when im watching anime at some sites this things loads fast.

    But hey at least you can enter. With NU now has ddos protection, i can't access NU with my old Nokia brick phone anymore. Because of that i can't read novels while i'm in class (f*ck philosophy). And yes, i'm using the old Nokia phone. Going on the internet is 10 times cheaper than a smartphone and it's small so i'm not afraid of being caught by the teacher.

    Sadly, there isn't much of a fix for this, Tony raised the level of cloudflare protection out of necessity, so, unless it's a browser problem (UC and Opera Mini seem to have it), I'm unsure if there is a way to make the process smoother.

    this is what Tony said to me "Yes, you will get the cloudflare DDoS every time you close your browser if you're on cellular data I think. Sorry I know it's a bit annoying."

    It's that thing that make me unable to access NU from my opera mini browser. I liked the data saving mode in that browser. Currently I'm using power browser. Works like charm.
