Is it just me or do even the regular chapters after volume 10 seem like side stories? It didn't really hit me until I decided to catch up and saw dozens of intermission and side-story chapters in v10. Then I went to read volume 11 and it seemed like a continuation of volume 10's side stories. Then it's even more intermissions and side-stories to conclude the 11th volume. When does it end and get back to the actual plot of him attending the Big Meeting with Royalty from various countries and getting the Chanting skill?
After each volume, there's a series of intermissions and side stories. Once the Intermissions and Side stories for the volume is completed, Sousetsuka will start the next volume
normally i skip most of the side stories only a few ill read but yeah after every volume there are sidestories then the next volume starts when they are done
Death March have plot? If any, it about tourist in another world. Everything else is side story, (including killing Demon King).
If anything volume 11 felt more like a continuation of volume 10 than a continuation of the side stories to me. Since volume 10 only covered the exploration of the outer layer this one had to cover the exploration of deeper layers. Judging by Satou's past habits, once he leaves the labyrinth city he probably won't go back unless he needs ingredients which is usually covered in the SS or intermissions. So the author probably felt that he had to cover the deeper parts of the labyrinth now since it would've been harder to fit in all the interactions into SS or intermissions. Since the SS and intermissions between chapter 10 and 11 also took place in the labyrinth city it ends up feeling like the main plot is stalling for a bit. Since they're about to board an airship to leave things should pick back up in volume 12. tldr: It'll pick back up in Volume 12
If you read death march and never read any of it's side stories, it means that you haven't read death march. Because death march's charm is in it sode story starred by non-satou character. Read this and find Tama-ane cuteness!
