Better than knights and magic but they could have made it better. Looks like they cut the budget on details and storyline.
........ You gotta pay more attention~ there were threads before it came out and threads after it came out. I’ve only watched 2 episodes so far. It’s not bad but cos I’ve read the novel, and cos I’m not into anime as much as I used to be, I’m not majorly excited by it.
It's mostly the LN (which hardcore fans seem to regard as treason due to the thorough changes, including a "Han Solo shot first" moment) with a bit of unbalace trying to accentuate while subduing the slice-of-life portions and to add relevance to the battle parts (the guy is OP, so trying to make that like it's done for regular battle series makes it somewhat boring, as well as stupid; that's why the battle portions in the novels are mostly sweeping trash, deciding on recipes, experimenting and sightseeing). Not that bad, but not up to the standards WN readers expect.
I couldn't even get through the first episode, Satou's inner monologues is fine when written, but is horrible to sit through when voiced.
A slice of life, op mc, different world fantasy anime? Did we really expect anything else, but hate? The anime community from what I had seen, seems kind of fed up with these kind of anime.
It's not that bad. I watch it even though I already read the wn. Pochi and Tama are too cute, you cannot not watch them.
It's the same kind of terrible. In Deathmarch, the main characters voice makes me cringe. It's looking like they'll never leave the starting town too. I really enjoyed Deathmarch the LN but most of the charm of it has been squeezed out of the anime.
The worst part is that it only has 12 episodes yet they wasted 9 episodes just meeting characters up to Nana. Death March, at least for me, wasn't all that interesting until after they met Karina and he became an honorary Chevalier.
Meh. It's not as bad as the manga. The art was so bad I felt sick. Though I don't like how they changed up the story
For me, the fun part only started when they reached the royal capital, which is after the labyrinth arc. If there is only 12 episodes, don't tell me they are gonna stop midway?
In front of horrible anime based on a meh webnovel in my dictionary you'll find smartphone, not death march.. The death march anime isn't horrible, completely rushed and with way too few food but not that bad, not great either but Pochi and Tama are cute so it's okay, too bad they doesn't have much screentime...
