I'm reposting this here so it'll get some more attention since it seems like a lot of people have mixed feelings about the new feature: There's no hard feelings if you don't like the feature or care for it! Not everyone is going to like everything that I do. I'm listening to the complaints and doing what I can about it. After listening to the complaints, the "Disable Reading List Notes" option was added which will make your reading list look exactly like how it was before this update + I removed the new "Show me chapters I haven't read!" (the book icon) and replaced it with the old one again. Personally, I prefer the new and plain book icon but I'll go with what I think is the majority vote. Since this question gets asked a lot too, the "refresh" (update to latest chapter) icon has been moved: That's it. I just wanted everyone to know that you can disable the feature if you dislike it.
It's always nice to see a site come up with new stuff, but it's even nicer when they give us the choice to go with the changes or not. So thanks for that!
Problem for me. What happen to blue book icon on Reading List which I always click it finish reading the updated chapter. How can I make this come back?
If you dislike this feature, you can disable it by going to your Reading List -> Global Settings (Top right) -> "Disable Reading List Notes" -> Save
Thanks! Its not that I dislike. It just that I used to it for a long time and changing it confused me.
Alternatively, you can click on the book icon, and then on the top right of the poppup, the blue icon will be there. It was moved to stop mobile users from missclicking it~
I was confused about what happened so I had to check the forums/update to find this. At least now I know and I'll put it to good use (hopefully). Is there some update change log that I should know about? This sudden change surprised and confused me.
If you follow @NU Status Bot, you will get a notification whenever an update happens. The profile of the bot also has a change log of the most recent updates.
Ohh... i was wondering what happened to the refresh icon. That's the only complaint i had about the new stuff but that's been answered in this thread. As always, thanks for all the hard work and openness
Thanks for allowing to roll-back to the old style, the notes and hidden update icon are a nuisance to me. I mainly read mobile(slow) and having to open the latest chapter pop-up just to tag "read" for that one new chapter that appeared for a novel is inconvenient, especially if i have to do this for x novels that got an update while i slept. best regards
