Feature Request Disqus!

@Tony It would be nice to have a comment system below the reviews, sometimes I would like to say something about some series but without really trying to leave a review, different than the last chapter discussion on the forum too, it seems that disqus would be a good choice to use here, it makes the act of browsing the series page a little more interactive and interesting

 

hmmm not everyone has a disqus account yanno.

 

I have Disqus blacklisted on uBlock Origin.

 

Disqus will kill NUF lol.

 

Disqus is now forcing ads on users, so it's cancer without subscribing to one of their plans.

 

I think it would not be a good idea to have disqus on NU. Some translators already use it for their sites (which is where you would discuss the chapter for that novel). The LCD's are there for interaction between users on the forum. NU is pretty much a directory for novels where not much interaction is really needed.

Also that means making another account for disqus, as not all members have such an account.

 

Not necessarily disqus then (I use it because of Android Police) but having comments would be good, not for LCD or reviews, without spoilers too

 

Hmm~ I don't see it being implemented when we already have the forum. I guess you could always make a thread about it (as long as it follows the rules in the forum).

 

Comments on reviews have been suggested more than once, and turned down every single time.

This is different, I don't want comments on reviews, I just want comments, separately from the reviews, where you can comment and nothing else

You basically want to make a review without actually spending the effort of making a proper review? It honestly seems like problem of laziness to me, I don't think it's necessary...

 

dont use disqus. 10cent has disqus trollbots, that allows them to create hundreds of account and post even if the mod blocks them.
