So just finished reading DTPB and i couldnt help but compare almost everything to WMW . I mean the research , Mc with both brain and balls. Reaching to the new heights , gods vs immortals (or magi) but the similarity ends there. i really wanted to lovve it so so much. But the translation oh my goddd!!! i have never seen such famous novel with such bad bad bad bad translation! THe misconception of talismans and the names of the races and often time changing the names mid way bt bringing back again after some chapters. whereas the wmw has such amazing wordflow and constant with the westernization of names. did the translation bother you too?? could you suggest some of novels where mc is like Su Chen and Leylin? Note : WMW is my all time most favourite.

I loved both novels, but personally I liked Su Chen as a character far more than Leylin. So basically I prefer Divine throne due to my personal taste
i recommend if you read enough novels previously so you can understand even if the translation fails to do so at some times// this is definitely not for starters otherwise great great story and yeah wmw has one of the slowest startings... but dptb is interesting from the first chapter.i think youll like it
