Discussion Do You Think Something Like a NUF Patreon Would Work (With Integrity)

So, you're probably wondering what I meant.

So, my idea is that for people who are translating novels but don't really want to earn actual money from that could start up a (x)nuffie(s)= (x) chapters.

Meaning, translators could keep posting on their website, but just like with patreon, they could post extra chapters in a conversation with the person who gave the nuffies for the chapter before it was posted on their website.

Example: Translators pre-translate something to... let's say chapter 400.

That same translator releases 1 chapter per day, but locks the other chapters that are yet to be posted.

So, if chapter 1 of the 400 was posted, then the other 399 chapters aren't posted yet.

Now, that same translator could have patreon and you'd be able to pay... let's say $5 for 10 chapters ahead or something.... ot $10 for 20 chapters, and so on.

I'm saying that we could do the exact same thing, but with nuffies. Like, we could post some chapters on the website we're translating, and then have a notice saying that 'if you want to read ahead, you can send (amount of nuffies) to this account. (Your account).'

It would just be a motivating thing for translators to see if they get any nuffies.... or if you are a miser for nuffies....

To prevent fraud, the person donating nuffies could take a screenshot of their transaction and keep it until the chapter is given to them in their specific conversation....

Just some fun things... think it could work?

 

I have no idea, just as I have no idea how many nuffies I own (if I own any at all)

This is a blog post! But idk about this.............. my nuffies are too valuable!!

 

I mean it can be a nice sink for nuffies since Parth teasing sink is now over.
Then again considering this site is filled with gambling addicts who regularly bankrupt themselves and old skeletons who wont use a single nuffies from their coffers, idk.

 

I honestly don't know why everyone nuffies go down so easily , but i would be glad if there's something like you said that can make me read advance chapter

 

There's a guy called justabot and he scams everyone's nuffies off of them.

 

@heartantares used to release extra chapters if they got X amount of nuffies as donations.

Then RL hit them and they stopped translating altogether, but it was fun while it lasted~

 

Yeah, basically like that. It would give more use to the nuffies.
