(ex. his 4th ring is a pit spider, and he killed a pit spider to re-obtain the 4th ring) now then, what about his 6th ring!? his 6th ring is a bunny spirit ring that he got from xiao wu, and later gave it back to her. so that means, to re-obtain the 6th ring, he had to kill a bunny! and it was at least 10k year old bunny! i wonder how did xiao wu react, considering they were together. or did he sneak away to murder that bunny!? does any1 know?
Actully, if I got things right, he only had to kill the same type of beast for all his rings except xiao wu's.
He doesn't have to get the spirit ring from the same kind of beast as mentioned in chapter 267~ Any beast will do it seems. Guess cos it was from a sacrifice and not one he gained by killing the beast~

Back during the Tournament arc, when they were travelling to the Spirit Hall city, they were attacked by Spirit Hall forces and he was one of the Title Douluo's attacking. However, when the SSD were about to get attacked by a Golden Eagle Spirit Douluo he stopped him from killing them due to Xiao Wu's immortal treasure, the Heartbroken Yearning flower I think. She declined and Yue Guan realized that Dai Mubai ate a immortal treasure and wanted to take him on as a Disciple. Boss Dai declined, saying that he had to take in all of the SSD or none at all. Yue Guan said it was a shame and let the Golden Eagle Spirit Douluo continue his attack until Dugu Bo interfered. So Tang San felt somewhat indebted to him since he shown mercy towards his friends, even though he was ordered to kill them all, but mostly Tang San due to him having twin spirits and amazing talent.
Chapter 281: so the Heaven Dou Imperial Army was unable to come up with a solution to attacking the Spirit Empire army in Jialing Pass yet Tang San appears from a three day sleep and has two solutions? The attack went pretty well which is surprising. Then there were the Title Douluos looking too scared to attack TS. True~ but even still I think grandmaster should've come up with something. While he's not a great spirit master he's still expert when it comes to them
theory vs practical, maybe? like grandmaster is really good with knowing how to cultivate...maybe not so much as to how to use that in a battle situation.
There is something that I want to clarify. Way back in the spirit arena, when tang & co. were competing, was there any limitation on the number of members you could have in group matches?
