I remember reading in a novel about how dragons gain power through their age; each time a dragon grows/ages its bloodline is awakened giving it great powers, vitality and magic as well as a longer lifespan making him virtually immortal and invincible. The power rankings by age goes more or less this: baby dragon adult dragon elder dragon ancient dragon supreme dragon (?) This is correct? I feel like I'm missing more things.

egg baby dragon adolescent dragon adult dragon elder dragon supreme dragon (personally i believe supreme should be before ancient... because ...ancient seems cooler than supreme when considering it's a dragon) ancient dragon primordial dragon dragon god in some novels they have something like a bloodline awakening which happens when they reach different stages of maturity or eat valuable treasures in cultivation novels snakes can cultivate to become dragons, which has several phases that could be considered bloodline awakenings in some novels dragons simply grow stronger every passing moment (they love sleeping hundreds of years which is why it seems like jumps in power but really they just spend a lot of time doing nothing snoozing on their treasure hoard while the bloodline becomes stronger with age) i personally believe that true dragons cannot die of old age always growing a little stronger every passing moment, simply because it is supposed to be a legendary bloodline, having a specific age where they obtain a huge boost in power does not make sense. imagine a certain type of monkey which when they reach 20 years old suddenly become super buff gorillas. doesnt make much sense does it?
let this humble one teach you something no matter how old, powerful a dragon is in the end females dragons get banged by mc, while males get killed, lair looted and bodies get used for crafting or something else for mc with overly heavy taste
I will just say 'Reincarnated as a Dragon’s Egg ~Lets Aim to Be the Strongest~' as I have nothing more to add to all the above suggestions, I need to recommend something, right ?
Well, in all honesty this kind of system makes no sense IMHO. It makes more sense to just put dragons as immortal by age by default, and say that as they grow older they understand more of the world and their magical mastery keeps on improving because they can slowly understand more and more of it and can keep practicing for as long as they want, since time is not an issue. Rather than bloodline breakthroughs, age naturally making you stronger and smarter just makes more sense IMO... >.> Oh, that's the Category from D&D~ Good old numbers~
Now, again, what type of dragons? As usual, Asians made everything extra complicated, e.g. Chinese Long is like a goddamn frog with a bunch of stages. "it can take up to 1,000 years before the egg hatches into a dragon, and yet another 500 years for it to grow into a Kiao. This form resembles a snake with a carp's head (Liyu tiao longmen). Another 1,000 years must pass for it to form a beard, scales and legs, and then another 500 for a set of horns. This new form is called Qiu Lóng (虯龍) and has the ability to hear unlike the previous forms. After another 1,000 years the animal becomes an adult Ying Lóng (應龍), which has wings according to some sources"
