    I read the MTL version until chapter 3k+, I can say that the plot pattern are always the same until I forgot how many times it happened no matter wherever the MC goes.

    That like asking if people watch Transformers for the story. No one watches transformers for plot. We watch it to see robot beat the shit out if other robots. I read ED to see a confident way too overpowered MC beat the shit out of his enemies.

    Been reading to many normal MCs that I need a change of pace and that's ED

    That' Just the characteristic of Chinese nov3ls. The mc is always arrogant as hell. Like in Japanese novel mc is the complete oppsite.

    That's why so many JP novels are trash... great ideas but dragged down by a spineless MC. Same with some CN novels. But I'd rather have an arrogant MC who kicks ass than a spineless MC who gets his ass kicked and constantly has to be protected.

    I wish there were more Meng Haos...
