    Problem with this is that it's almost the carbon copy of the Roman Empire. That me knowing history and as big fan of it made like a fan fiction and I was not reading a genuine story. Even the damn maps are carbon copies.

    Empire building story without any harem element would actually be kinda hard. Political marriages are very good at forging local allies in the area you have little to no influences very quickly, making it possible for a formidable empire to be build in a single lifetime of the MC.

    This story really is just the Roman empire with some magic thrown in, but it's still fun.
