I really enjoyed reading Escape the Infinite Chamber(BL) lately and wanted to find some more novels with the escape room genre. There isn't a specific tag on NU for escape room novels so I did look through the survival game tag but most of it are kill or be killed novels/vrmmorpg death games, which isn't what I'm looking for.. if anyone has any recommendations specifically involving escape room games I'm fine with translated novels or original/rrl novels. Doesn't have to be BL. Preferably no harem. My reading list is public, though I don't think there's any other novels of that genre I've read before. TL;DR: - Similar to Escape the Infinite Chamber - Escape room genre specifically - Not survival game as in VRMMORPG death games/kill or be killed arenas etc - Doesn't have to be BL - Very preferably no harem - Can be translated novels or on rrl or another website
So i cant think of titles atm but you might be wanting "tower" novels as well where they climb a tower, similar to escape room. I know there is a manwha (thought it was korean) called tower of [something], and a few novels about tower climbing.
Can't think of a webnovel but I guess the Maze Runner might fit? Didn't like the second/third book but the first one was kinda alright. EDIT: It is a paid published book tho

Well, besides Escape the Infinite Chamber, I dunno so I'm here to find out I guess lol Is this the Zero Escape series? That's what I got from google, but I'm not sure where to read the novels of the games... Ahh I think I know what you mean, probably Tower of God? I've read a few chapters a long time ago but it wasn't really my cup of tea. I don't remember if each floor of the tower was based on clues and reasoning though, I thought he fought his way up? I've actually read this one before! Though I guess it's not on my Reading List since I read it way before NU was a thing. It didn't occur to me that it was an escape room Oh wow coincidentally I have that book sitting at my parent's home ever since I got it for free from my high school book club uh.. I guess I'll consider reading it the next time I go home? Hmmm I suppose that is an escape room, I would prefer one with clues and hints/puzzles to escape rather than writing a novel though.. Thriller Paradise is kind of like that - first scenario is exactly "escape the room" type. You can try it out, it's different from usual VR game genre

Not sure I'll read it I did go to read Welcome to the Nightmare Game tho, that one was interesting! I've read a couple chapters of Real Account some years ago and it wasn't really up my alley.
