Question Extraordinary Genius: Is this author a homophobe?

I kinda get that vibe from this chapter.

Once the car moved out of Fu Rongbing’s villa, Fu Mengying immediately shifted away from Feng Yu. She wants to get as far as possible from Feng Yu. But the space in the rear passenger seats of a Mercedes was only so big. Where can she run?

If you are dissatisfied with an author just drop the novel.

 

How is any of that homophobic I don't get it. But even if a character is homophobic that doesn't mean author is homophobic.

He knows event from the future and he got issues with that lesbian girl(from the timeline from which he came from ?) and the relationship between him and Fu family complicates the situations since Mengying is a lesbian, so I don't think it is a problem of the author being a homophobe or not but more like he put the MC in an complicated situation and his partner is a lesbian meaning the plot development for the 'Extraordinary Genius' MC is going to be troublesome and trouble for MC in such novels means less face slapping and less moments for the MC to shine therefore twists like being harsh are the alternative

Even if he was (which you have to take care to separate the plot from the writer), what can you do about it? Invade their country? Start a mass brainwashing program? Any change to their society must come from inside their country, not imposed by force from the outside. Not to mention this homophobe/homophile attitudes can come in cycles, for all we know, in 100 years, America might have a Fundamentalist revival and suddenly homophobe is in vogue again... after we changed everyone else to homophiles lol.

Attitudes can change for better or worse at different times. For example, in the 16th century, sex with different people was seen as ok while masturbation was no. These days, masturbation is seen as normal while sleeping around is less acceptable. Times change, attitudes change, there is no "one fixed attitude for all time". Even our "no homophobe!!" is a product of our time and society. I bet if you were born in China, you would think the same as the *probable homophobe* author, you would have been brought up that way, and if a Chinese were to be raised in America, he would be doing what you're doing now lol.
