You know i was thinking and all but shouldn't we make new tag called Face slapping
because there might be people looking for funny full of face slapping novels you know?

 

Literal face slapping or figurative face slapping?

 

are there any chinese novels without faceslapping?

 

I love both

 

1st face slapping is good. But you know, CN novels Overused those Cliched "Face Slapping" so much, as in Keep on Repeating the Plots just show it became a "Face Slapping", in a way that it's just make you Questions whether the characters even got their IQ over 1 or even have a brain or not, then I'm not gonna support the tag.
And yes, I'm looking at you IRAS.

 

Well, in most CN face slapping comes aorund every 20 chapters or so in a variety of ways. Can't have a CN without it really. Them Chinese sure love their faces. Wonder how many faces the MC's from the CN's have in their collections?

 

Isn't there a face slapping tag already? You can add it to ancient Godly monarch or sovereign of the three realms

 

Almost 99.9% of novels have it so no point in having an extra tag because when MC exposes something or does something impossible then it always slaps someone's in the face who talked negative about him

 

Library of the heaven's path needs this tag where the mc face slapped almost everyone

 

I wonder if any CN MC can go 1 small arc without any face-slapping.

I concur... but that would imply that all other novels without exception have face slapping...

OP-Badass(villain): I'm the most powerful, but my muscles prevent me from running as fast as that weakling

MC: I'm back
OP-Badass(villain): I will kill you
MC: *Slaughter OP-Badass(villain)'s entire clan/sect/"generic group of somehow related people"*
MC: Baamm, waifu get!
Repeat (every single line including this one until Publisher says stop)

No need for a new tag... That's like asking for a "Brick" tag.

This is another thing that I hear a lot about but I don't see it in my reading. I see metaphorical face slapping, but that just means an insult. I assume that this is common in xianxia novels.

 

Yes, it's a common trope, but so is Romance and OP Protagonists, yet there are still tags for them. Considering there are entire series out there that focus entirely on face-slapping for either comedic (Library of heaven's path) or dramatic (Emperor's domination) purposes, I'd say it's not a bad idea to create a tag specifically for stories like this.
