Looking for something that has fantasy elements and is combat focused but also more relaxed segments inbetween (slice of life, comedy, romance, etc) I recently read Advent of the Archmage and realized the latter half was much less enjoyable because it became this hectic barrage of MC rushing around to put out fires. In comparison, Warlock of the Magus World and Devil's Son in Law both had pretty good pacing, giving the MCs time in-between arcs to enjoy their accomplishments or just chill without this feeling of the next huge enemy looming over them. I'd like to find novels with: - some kind of power-system that MC progresses through - good pacing - some sort of romantic subplot (male MC with female partner, idc if it's harem or not) - (preferably) completely or nearly completely translated (not MTL)
