I have only played the uber toxic LoL and the mobile version Vainglory. What are some other ones that might be better? Dota? Some knock off? Overwatch? Heroes of the Storm? name some more and I will add them to the poll.
You select items (weapons) in CoD and CSGO and play in an arena against others, guess those are MOBAs too then?
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=MOBA I thought OW is FPS? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overwatch_(video_game)
If you are ready to spend 1000+ of hours then go for DotA. It test your micromanaging skills unlike LoL. Sure it's very hard but once you get good, it will get addictive. Overwatch is just like Team Fortress tho but with more varieties and fun!
I've only played LoL, Dota 2, and Hots, but Hots is definitely my favorite among them. It's the only one where playing support actually feels impactful rather than being a glorified babysitter and ward-bot. LoL used to be a lot better before season 1 where they nerfed all healing into the ground.
Duh, don't compare lol with dota 2. As someone who have played both, I can guarantee that these 2 games are completely different
Anyone else think season 8 LoL is having a problem because of power creep and snowbally champions(mostly assassins) taking over every other game, which has made it essentially a coinflip of whichever team has more feeders?
Used to play Dota, then switched to HoN when it was first released. HoN pretty much went to shit when the server management and maintenance failed(this was on SEA server). Found LoL and Dota2 but found LoL more interesting.... Right, now I'm a casual player on LoL with Probational on Solo/Duo and a Plat I on Flex....
Stopped playing MOBA. I like it, but requires too much time investment to git gud. And playing really bad feels like shit getting scolded by other players, as if they never messed up before. Too toxic for my liking. This is true for all MOBAs in my experience.
Not really(although i do love lux because she is literally marisa kirisame from touhou). In regards to the powerecreep and snowballing if you look at all the different patches from season 8, most changes are buffs not nerfs, the new runes also are way more powerful than ever and promote snowballing because of the bounty system where some scale the more you use them/get kills, and most of the new and reworked champions while being more interactive to play also are more powerful if played right which also means older champions have to be buffed to keep up.
Eh? I don't think that's true though... on higher elo's the hard CC champ rule the game far more than assassins. Well, this might be true on lower elo though... You can practically feel like a King among the peasants if you play a hard carry assassin. It's gets harder playing assassins main on higher elo... I know.
