Resolved Finding Empty Release Section Novels on NU?

I've often come across some empty pages like https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-national-sweetheart-livestreamer-is-a-pro/

I can't remember all but was wondering what happened? It wasn't deleted for this case, is it because of another related issue?

No There is a good chunk of free chapters before paywall happens.

 

On Novel Updates Chapter 1 to the latest one is considered to be behind pay wall for somereason
It has the lock symbol on them
Could be an error in the system

I found this recently on another novel that was translated from Webnovel. When all the adwall chapters were being released there was a setting on NU under "Release Filtering" that allowed you to hide locked chapters (which I did). Now the setting is gone and I still can't see the locked chapters (which are now behind a paywall instead of an adwall).

If they are hidden from eveyone then that's one thing, but it seems some people can see the chapters and others can't? I'm guessing that that means the setting is still active even though we can't change it anymore?

you may have filtered out all webnovel releases...

like what I did before...

I think there is an option for that, not sure tho

 

i see up to chapter 224 and most of them are behind paywall/adwall
and i have webnovel under release filter...

above the list there is a simbol similar a "T"....for group filtering....select that, and see if the box is cheked...if is uncheked, check it...

 

I do not have any groups under release filtering and when I click that symbol webnovel is checked but i still can not see the chapters. I think the problem comes from an old filter option that seems to have been removed. This is the post when the filter option was first added, but at some point (maybe with the latest redesign) the setting was moved or removed (I can't find it).
