some strange freeware beat-em-up called 'little fighters 2', It wasn't even that good but there was something satisfying about burning my brother's character with one of the few special abilities capable of friendly fire in the game. the final boss was bullshit though, it was so OP it was unfair.
Damn, I remember playing 'multiplayer' games with siblings on PC/laptop where it one person was WASD, one was on the arrow keys, and we plug in another keyboard and sometime someone else on IJKL. Not the first game I play, but one of the more memorable time playing. Even simple 2d stickman/tank/smash-clone games can be pretty fun with other playing close by.
Virtual Cop, StarCraft & Beachhead. Quite a childhood yeah? Still, it bugged me how on the Kropulu a Battlecruiser have the same dmg as a Wraith. And later on Valkyrie just replace them altogether as an alternative Air Dominance craft. And don't remind us how bad the Dragoon & Goliath movement are. They're a nightmare to maneuver over cliffs.
Mine was Spongebob and Friends: Battle for Volcano Island for the DS. Took me a while to beat Mawgu when I was younger but was extremely easy when I replayed it last year
Ahhhh I see a fellow elder~ I played Oregon Trail on an Apple IIe in school! but the very first game I played was probably this? This video brought back all the memories
Bud redhead the time chase ... And that keeping the ball from falling and hitting blocks game...I totally forgot what it is called
The first game I ever played was definitely pinball on Windows XP.... But if you want to talk about the first real game, then I think apart from a bunch of unknown flash games, the more popular ones were Prince of Persia and NFS 2. I was never really a big gaming fan though so I don't think I played any of them for more than 3-4 hours.
I don't remember but probably Super Mario 3 though it could also be some game for Super Nintendo my neighbours had. I just had original Nintendo from my brother as my parents didn't want me to turn into hikikomori like him. So when PS1 was big I was sitll on original Nintendo, colorless Gameboy and a 6 year old PC without internet(pretty much until I was 18 though I did get PSP and a new 6 year old PC ).
The first full game as far as I remember playing is Warcraft III. I probably played snake and stuff like that on mobile before that tho.
True gamers play minesweeper for their first game and won. Me? Of course as a true Gamer I been playing minesweeper for more than 20 years and never even I beaten any round of minesweeper! Hey! I say I'm a gamer, but that doesn't mean I have to be good at it!
