Kyu goes from high to low 1.kyu and then 1.dan and upwards 9. dan usually. So what's the problem? Should I join as well? I have all 23 volumes of Hikaru no Go on my shelf >.>

 

It's higher than I thought, and I haven't played in a while.

;-; I think if I played ranked I'd be absolutely demolished.

 

@kohryu I can teach. My teaching method it to start on a size 3x3 board. you move first, and there is no komi. The board size increases as you win.

@Astaroth Watching hikaru no go is enough. You can practice playing in preparation though; it is a week away.
@Atamahead027 no sword intent needed. nor is high understanding. just basic understanding of the rules is enough, so long as you intend to have fun.
