Yeah i understood that after i read through some other replies but he could’ve avoided this misunderstanding if he didn’t try to imitate CN authors with a block of useless filler- he could’ve simply said “i chose the Indonesian nationality over the Korean because i dont like living in south Korea due to so and so”

Is alienation really a problem or are you talking about in an actual group setting, like the people in your work shift all get off at the same time and decide to meet up afterwards but you're not invited?

I wouldn't expect just anyone to come up and casually chat with me if I was shopping alone or sitting alone in a restaurant. If it's the shop employees themselves refusing service (waiters not taking orders) then that's another thing.

nah, I don't even work in Korea. And I don't know the specific, but my wife said that it's like every single waitress in the restaurant tried to push each other to take her order, or something like that.

sorry. I don't know English too much. It's not my native language and the last time I studied English is in high school. Maybe I can describe it in Indonesian or Korean language, but not in English

Could be because they're poor in English and don't want to get into a language barrier situation.

If I saw some Asians that were clearly tourists I would be hesitant to help them out, not because they're Asian but because I wouldn't be able to communicate with them.

Okay, when I meant that only western countries give a shit about racism. I meant that racism is a huge issue in western countries due to people not seeing eye to eye, political reason, personal insecurity, and many other reason. Meanwhile, everywhere else in the world. People don’t really care. My original comment was me being lazy to type.

thats not specific only to korea.
not a korean specific problem. even in the city im in in china is like that. who the fuck cares? noise tends to attract attention. its business psychology

you made no logical reason WHY korea is bad to live in. no actual reason other than that YOU, an individual, hate it.

it all goes to personal taste.
i moved from a city of almost 100k residents, to a city thats nearing 7 million. 3 million more people than my entire country. its noisy, traffic is chaotic, i have no rights, yet i love ut here so much.

This is pretty common in major cities worldwide.
This is also common, but its not really because of racism, its more because of “fear of the unknown”. If you are there long enough and speak their language, sooner or later, the locals will open up to you. Indonesia is the same from my personal experience.
Taxis being able to go up to 70-80km/h actually meant that the traffic condition there is good & though I'm not opposed to a friendly chat with the driver, I will prefer to do my own stuff/ listen to music. Wait till you visit countries where the taxis barely made it past 30km/h…. it’s a nightmare…. Yours seem more like a case of a reckless driver & its everywhere in the world.

Choosing where to live is more of a personal preference, but my advice is: don’t put all your apples in one basket. If dual citizenship aren’t allowed, try to keep at least a PR status in another country.

I assume you never enjoyed a taxi ride in Cairo, Italy (just going with a generalisation for this beautiful country) or Paris (you have to hate the Parisian taxi drivers) ...
