This is a novel that I read a few years back and would like to reread it again cause it was really good Found it: The Villain’s Reborn Ex-Girlfriend *spoiler alert* Has: - Female MC - Modern/Urban setting - Either a Rebirth(second chance) novel or a transmigration body possession - ML also gets reborn(later in book) - Little Angst( maybe) - MC and ML meet a lot in "second life" - ML regrets what he did to MC in both "lives" - MC doesn't try to get ML back in the beginning( don't know about end) - ML is second generation rich but becomes more rich with his own efforts Spoiler: Novel description In the beginning of the novel, MC dies in regret. (I don't know whether she is replaced by a raider?) The new life begins, and MC and ML are on top a building. MC in the first life wanted to get back together after the ML is a rich president (but she is not gold-digger, she genuinely loves him). The reason she left him when they were teens was because his family was already a social and financial class above hers. MC didn't want to drag ML down so she broke up with ML after ML's mother offered her money. She didn't take the money, but when she saw the ML, she loved him too much so she broke up with him so he didn't have distractions. So, they meet again as adults in the first life, and she wants to be with him again. ML is furious because she broke his heart, so he says that if she jumps from this building, he will be with her. She jumps and breaks her body, but he agrees to be her boyfriend. ML treats the MC horribly, but MC loves him. ML then meets another girl that has a "heroine halo", MC is heartbroken but stays with him. Unsure if this happens but MC finds out that the Heroine halo girl is planning to take all of ML's money and luxury goods to give to her boyfriend (being manipulated). MC tells ML, but he throws her out and so MC goes to another city where no one can find her(or dies somewhere. Either way he can never find her again). ML starts basically showering HHG(Heroine halo girl) with gifts because MC was out of his life and HHG was his "girlfriend". He didn't realize that his company and life was about to change. He eventually found out and either lost everything, lost his company and made a new company and took them down or kept his company and kicked them out but the damage was done. Either ways, he loses a lot of money. His mother then confesses that HHG was so bad and she should have let ML stay with MC because she really loved him. ML was shocked at this and wanted to find MC but couldn't. He spent his entire first life trying to find her, but never did, and died regretting everything he did. Second life begins They are on top of building, and MC decides not to jump down and leaves. IF is rebirth then she gives up her love for him, but if raider then they decide to live the live then original would have without ML. The MC lives her life, but ML in this life is bent on getting revenge on her (ML hasn't rebirthed). He continues to disturb MC's life even after she apologizes to ML. A lot of events happen and eventually ML's mother tries paying MC money to leave her son alone. MC says that its her son that is harassing her, but ML's mother doesn't believe. Anyways more things happen and eventually ML is rebirthed and starts searching for MC (Don't know if he gets his memories from second life). I don't know whether he knows that MC is rebirthed, he probably does. ML tries to win MC back, but it doesn't work. And that is all I remember about this book. Please comment if know this novel.
