So what are the differences between the anime and novel? I want to watch the anime but I’m scared to hurt my heart or receive major spoilers since the novel isn’t finished being translated. Is it worth it?
Feel free to watch the anime because the translated novel is ahead of the anime so you shouldn't get any major spoilers
MDZS novel is in detail ...While anime has important scenes and details. I think it is OK to watch as its still season 1 with 15 eps. The novel has caught up till the season one I guess. U can also watch as novel will be finished soon Can't wait to binge read it lol. Also waiting for Season 2 of anime.
Yes ....another novel ' The scum villain's self saving system ' donghua (anime) season 1 will be coming soon in 2019. Lol *tears of joy *
The biggest difference I'd say is the timeline. The anime focuses almost entirely on flashback, which happens later on in the novel.
The anime contains spoilers. I was lucky. I started from anime and watched up to ep 6. From there on I got hooked and read the novel up to latest translated chapters. Thank God I didn't watch from ep 7 as I would have got major spoilers because the novel flicks between past and presence but the anime compiled past scenes. Hence I suggest you do the same thing as me in order to not get spoiled about the good parts (or rather bad parts) at all. And also vividly imagine the settings and characters. And yes. Novel is much ahead than season 1 including past scenes.
