Getting an image corrected

The current image for "Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyusoukyoku (LN") is from the manga, which has a different artist (and it says so, in the image itself). I have twice tried submitting LN art to replace it and nothing has happened (although there is no field to specify why you are submitting a replacement). I have also tried creating a problem report but there doesn't seem to be any way of tracking it and, again, nothing has happened.

 

Have you tried waiting an hour or 2 for the moderators to review the art

 

I mean he said he tried twice, i'll just go ahead and assume that he didn't simply try twice in 5 minutes and then made this post 5 minutes later.

 

I mean, god knows how long it can take.
I mean the mods aren't paid to do anything here, they're just normal people like us that either started out on the site when it first came out and posted a lot so they got mod, or people that simply know tony.
So they might check it one day, maybe not, i think the best person to contact would be the translator.

 

If the report button doesn't work then you can try PMing all the mods you know.
And if that doesn't work you create a thread where you ping all the mods you know of.

Why would you contact the translators to change the picture on NU?

 

Generally I would recommend you to just report it through NU, but... Since you already did that, I think what you did was the best method.

Just wait for a bit, a mod will probably see this thread and reply.

Posting a lot or knowing Tony won't earn you modship btw.

Second submission was days ago, the first one and the bug report were a while back. The image form just says it will be reviewed first, but I don't think I have a clear idea of how long - and there's no way to tell if it had been rejected.

@OnigaImasuka I don't actually know any of the mods. Bug form directs you to the forums for further help.

 

Most likely one of the mods reviewed your uploaded picture and decided that the old one is better.

 

That doesn't make much sense though if the cover isn't even from the novel

 

The current cover shows more characters than any one of the LN covers so it may look "better", but it's a different art style. Unfortunately, you can't specify why you are submitting a replacement..

 

They might not know it.

Just contact any of the mods previously mentioned

 

Uh thats how the first mods came to be if i'm not mistaken.
Very active people or people that knew tony within the first month or so of the sites release, i am 99% sure i read that somewhere in a thread here and even if not it makes the most logical sense that it's how it happened.
Mods are normal humans, and if he had to pick mods naturally he would pick active people or people who knows.

I mean, if he tried contacting mods for a few days with no answer he might as well contact the translator as he has contacts with the mods etc right? Or he could also make a thread like he did.
