My second novel project, criticism is accepted, but have two things in mind: first, my English is good but I'm not that great in writing so I will repeat words very often and my story's pace is VERY VERY VERY RUSHED. It is already posted in royalroadl, link: https://www.royalroadl.com/fiction/19306/goblin-kingdom

Oh and if anyone wants to be nice and teach this dumb one how to make that thing that you click on it and go directly to the chapter, I would be very thankful

    Synopsis:
A normal Goblin is born in a normal goblin village. But right after he gets kidnaped and transformed into a slave by some strange rabbits. And that's how he starts to grow and create a goblin Kingdom

    Prologue

Once in the ancient times, when the world was just a lot of volcanos erupting, and there were a few people living in an isolated isle, the only isle that had a proper vegetation and water to host life, there lay a little village of 30000 people, the first ''kingdom'' to have ever existed. There was the concentration of all the MANA(the energy of the very world) that existed. Mana is the center of all Magic and later was born the only energy aside from it, BATTLE POWER. Though that's a story for another time.

In this very place they, and by they I mean the first five races to have ever existed(humans, goblins, vulcanic birds, fishes and brutes) lived peacefully, but these peaceful times were going to end quickly.

A short time after life came to be, an individual named Jonmar was born. He was a brute, but not the usual red skinned, one-horned, long-tailed ones. No, he was 3 times stronger than any brute to have ever existed; He had two horns, a deep black eye, his skin was blue and he didn't have a tail.

If he had just come to life and lived his life peacefully there wouldn't be much of a problem. But for an unknown reason, he had a strange feeling, one he couldn't explain. His heart desired more than just eat, be social, sleep and die. He wanted to dominate over everything he could, he wanted to give orders, do what he wished without any consequences to his acts.

That's how, with his superior talent, he started to gain more and more power to achieve his goal. In a short period of time, he got stronger than all of the 30000 individuals in the isle.

Then he started conquering all of the territories, and enslave all of the population just for the sake of this strange feeling.

But his brother couldn't endure him being in the power alone. So secretly his brother, Heaven, created the evil spirits. Heaven imprisoned the souls of all the people Jonmar killed and transformed them into Dark mana, sentient individuals. With that, the first great revolution started.

They fought more and more until there was only a tiny bit left of civilization. In the end, Heaven offered the Godking(his brother's new nickname)'s subordinates a part of his energy and the eradication of his entire evil spirit army if they rebelled against the Godking; They accepted and with the help of the entire civilization the mighty Godking Jonmar died dramatically.

Poor people, little did they know that Heaven wasn't the least bit better than his deceased brother. He put a seal on each individual alive so that they started using his energy in exchange for their lifeforce, lowering their life expectancy a lot and as if this wasn't enough evilness he even left the evil spirits alive.

The seal he put on civilization was in the coresoul, the very essence of each of them, so they couldn't break this seal. This very fact allowed Heaven to brainwash people by transforming them into his servants.

Heaven would be very satisfied if it wasn't for the fact that secretly somewhere in the evil spirit army a certain talented spirit was mutating. It was born from an anomaly in the evil spirit magic; Different from all other evil spirits, this special one had Mana and Battle Power as its power. It started to break the evil mana magic slowly and quietly and by the time it got free, It hadn't been discovered yet.

The Demon Emperor, as the spirit was called, ate a bit of Mana here or there for the sake of hiding(by that time, all of the Mana had been transformed to serve Heaven's purposes).

When Heaven found out about the Demon Emperor, It was too late. The Emperor had already secretly created a technique that gave his powers to another individual upon his death.

Demon Emperor died and Heaven thought it was okay just to kill his descendants when he found them but he didn't expect that after some time, the strongest descendant found a way to camouflage the Demon Emperor energy and after he died, the last descendant to have ever existed was born.

By the time the world had life all over it. Continent Ember, Kingdom of Acacia, In the middle of an enormous forest, There lay a goblin camp.

In a little and comfortable cavern, in the middle of 50 other baby goblins a little goblin that was just the same short green aberration the others were, with a brown short hair, was born.

Were this a normal reincarnation into goblin story, this is where we would be putting some game-like pop-ups talking about the protagonist's stats, abilities, etc. But as I'm already breaking the fourth wall right now, I might as well just explain it right away. This world doesn't have status windows, instant-learn skills, or some common sense, ok now that it is already explained let us continue the story.

The goblin woke up and the first thing he saw was the round-shaped and full of wrinkles face of his mother. Goblins had different eye colors, so his mother's blue eyes were quite different from his red ones. He had an oval-shaped face, with eagle eyes and thick lips. (AUTHOR: Ok, memorize this because I won't describe his face a lot later)

As this novel doesn't have the reincarnation cliche, this little green animal didn't have memories from a past life, unique skills, etc. The only thing he had that made an actual difference was that he possessed both Mana and Battle Power, even if he didn't know it yet. He didn't have a skill that appeared as normal but later developed into a hack; No, he was just a normal goblin like all the others.

''Name, Norgolin I choose'' His primitive mother Noa named him. Norgolin's father was unknown, as in this goblin society, sex was treated in the same way talking was. If one walked through the little tribe, one would often see one couple or another having sex in public, and they had sex with literally anyone they wanted without much refusal from either the man or the woman.

In his first 14 days of life, Norgolin grew as a normal baby. That happened because he hadn't woken his energies yet so he needed to do it before growing to an adult in 30 days like normal goblins. After his core formed into a rice grain-sized gem he started to get bigger and 9 days later he was the same in comparison to a 14-year-old child, save for the size as goblins were around 1,40m tall at most.

His mother Noa, Unlike any other goblin mother, for some reason, cared for him. She educated Norgolin into being more intelligent and of course stronger than any other goblin. That way, he found knowledge something enjoyable to acquire from his birth. This even affected his speech, making him quite the bit less primitive than the other goblins.

Life in the village was very boring and unfruitful for a knowledge-loving goblin like Norgolin. Although he talked to quite a bit of goblins, they weren't very interesting as all they could talk about was hunting, eating, sleeping and having sex.''Hunted have you today?'' ''eat, very good'' ''good goblin in bed yesterday'' Was all they said.

The only interesting goblin there was his mother. She was very caring and liked to look at beautiful plants and cook. Norgolin was very happy to have this only parent and learned to appreciate the calm and peaceful way of life. Despite that, soon his story would become very hectic.

One day after he reached the suitable age he woke up with a strong shout from Noa. ''NORG, GET UP, IT HUNTING DAY'' the primitive language resounded in the little hut. He quickly jumped and almost forgot to catch his crude stone knife in his own clumsy way. Today was a special day so Norg had to go toward the center of the village to a big gathering.

Our little protagonist was now standing in front of a ''strong''(stronger muscles than most others) goblin that had a rough face and blond hair. Indeed, he looked like an experienced hunter. Along with Norgolin there were at least 40 goblins standing and listening to the speech. ''Now, hunt ceremony begins. Hunt stronger creature you find preference for bigger go and no team, hunt alone'' The middle-aged goblin, Carlin, spoke. Yes, this is the classic hunting ceremony from all the other novels; It's just that no subpar goblin society had a different concept from ''the stronger the better'' and that's why most goblin societies didn't grow a lot, save for the evolved ones.

As Norg started to run toward the forest and look for prey for the sake of being the first to hunt, he got lost and didn't know how to go back. He did, indeed, after a few hours, kill a tiny rabbit with a lot of struggle and fighting, but after that, for some reason, he couldn't sniffle his way back to the village. One had to understand that goblins relied on their superior sense of smell to go back home as this forest was just too big and had no special thing to use as a checkpoint so goblins didn't develop a sense of direction.

The only thing he could see was that a little far in front of him lay a very strange cave entrance, and he could see from the smell that rain was about to come. ''rain comes, I look for shelter'' Was what he thought and for that reason, he entered this strange cave entrance; Inside the dark cave various red light dots shined toward Norg, but he didn't know exactly why that happened. The poor goblin discovered right away that these lights were the eyes of at least 12 beasts and as an enormous roar that could be heard all over the cave resounded, all of the beasts started to shine and that very fact illuminated the cave. Despite his lingering fear, he could see all of them clearly; they looked like rabbits, but way bigger(like 2 meters tall) and human-like. They stood on two feet just like any normal humanoid and had very, very strong furry bodies as well as two 30-cm long horns protruding from their foreheads and wings twice as big as their bodies in their backs. Their leader had three horns and shone a red light, different from the blue light all others had.

Behind the frightening rabbit humanoids stood what looked like a series of holes that served as houses for the rabbits. Their place was very neat and strangely well-built.

''FUCK, RUN'' These two words couldn't exit the goblin's mouth before the leader rabbit hit him with a mace, rendering our protagonist unconscious.

''Karak neymarak cainelik amerik popelicon emelicaria(This idiot couldn't give us any valuable food so I propose we study him; Do you agree?)'' Leader rabbit spoke in that strange language.

''vaisiferrAaA mocarion uriosidem iroligist(of course, never seen one of these before)'' Brownish black-furred rabbit said.

''aagovasen emecil predelche(I agree too)'' Purple-furred agreed.

Indeed, these humanoids thought about killing the goblin and studying his insides, but this was too hard of a task for little gain. After pondering for a while, they decided to try and learn how much could this species be intelligent to learn, adapt, fight and things like that; That way, they would learn about a possible enemy and gain a slave at the same time.

Norgolin's eyes slowly opened and he could see the light of the cave again. Right now he was situated at some type of cell that was more like a hole with iron bars, even though the goblin didn't know what iron was.

''Stuck, I am. I need to get out'' Was the first thought, but unfortunately, the cell was just too well-made and the iron bars were too sturdy, leaving no opportunity to escape. This would soon be found unimportant as the goblin looked down and saw a very heavy iron sphere connected to his tiny legs by a very strong type of rope, made by some sturdy vines.

''Gatio AMOPARE! (get the goblin'' The voice of the rabbit leader resounded. Indeed, two minutes later there were two rabbit humanoids wearing what looked like a strange stone shaped into armor already opening the cell of our protagonist. Norgolin was carried by the rabbits as if the iron sphere that restricted his movements was as heavy as a feather.

Arriving at the destination, it was a chamber with a wooden table and two chairs. In one of the chairs, the leader humanoid sat, with a blue gem in his hand; This gem was as big as a chicken egg and had the same shape, but the strange fact was that although the gem looked like normal, Norgolin could sense a very strange power emanating. This was a new feeling for him because after he was discovered to have the Mana and Battle Power altogether, the leader goblin didn't let the goblin do anything with them. This was because the goblins thought these 2 energies together meant a curse.

VROOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! the gem suddenly started to vibrate and do a lot of noise, however this wasn't the strange thing. The incredible part was that right after these events, the rabbit leader started speaking goblin language!

''Greetings, goblin. My name is Bultharr, the master of the Armonic tribe.'' Bultharr spoke.

''Hi, goblin is hungry.'' Norgolin answered. It wouldn't matter if he had manners or not in this situation, as he was already a slave and they could kill him anytime they wanted.

''Ok, so I will go straight to the point. You are a slave. However, if you tell us everything we want AND do what we tell you to do, I can consider setting you free, as I can see from your nude body and weak constitution that you don't represent any danger.'' The leader spoke casually.

'' I'm going to follow your commands.'' This was the first grammatically correct sentence the goblin had spoken in his life. Maybe it was the effect of this strange gem, but people who lived in this cavern seemed to get more intelligent for some reason.

'' So listen carefully. These are the rules: 1-you can't walk around and enter any of the chambers without permission given by the one in charge. 2-you will follow anything your instructor/master says, even if it compromises your life. 3-you will not try to escape or use any of your power without authorization. That's it, Got it? Oh, and one last thing, NEVER, EVER TOUCH THE WISDOM GEM'' Bultharr spoke slowly.

''Got it, so let's start the work'' The goblin was eager to start working because he would be released faster if he worked more.

''Good, if you are looking up that much for work, follow me,'' Bultharr said as he started walking toward the exit.

Norgolin was taken to an enormous chamber that could be accessed by going down a big set of stairs; This chamber could be easily acknowledged to be the kitchen of the Armons, by the wood stove, food all over the tables and the Armons preparing the food and such. Norg wondered how many of these rabbits lived here; Just in the way to this very chamber and inside it he could see at least 120 of them. Looks like these 12 in the entrance were just the patrol guards.

''This is where you will be working until you are free, and you'll work here for at least 2/3 of your day. The rest of the time you will be either sleeping, eating or being questioned about your race/getting examined. No complaining and no joking around with a knife, you could imagine what would be your fate if you did anything like that.'' Bultharr explained.

Norgolin was given a well-made stone knife, as he obviously wouldn't receive anything sharper or more dangerous, for obvious reasons. After being taught how to skin, bone, shred meat, etc, the goblin was surprised to see how these tasks demanded a lot of physical force; He took 7 hours(unknown to him, as the sun wasn't visible in this part of the cave) to skin the first fox and the job was horribly done, what gave motive to the Armons to joke about. One couldn't blame the little green animal as he wasn't skilled with any type of cuisine instruments. And that's how the cooking lessons began; In the kitchen, one learned how to use knife, hammer(to break bones and treat the meat) and various other things, as well as training the muscles.

In the second month of work, Norgolin surprisingly had made quite a few Armon friends, including one of the cooking apprentices, named Alom; This Armon was very weak compared to the others, he had a greenish-white fur and was quite the idiot, considering the mysterious intelligence of all the Armons.

Alom was very strange, because despite having many books that he accumulated from the humans he killed without the village knowing(he sneaked his way out at night) he didn't read any of them. So Norgolin, the goblin that loved knowledge, asked for one book each night, and often lost his sleep reading, as this was the only time he had to read.

This way, despite being very tiring, life in the Armons was found to be quite enjoyable and a little bit funny, with Alom's help in the latter.

Time passed by, and this was Norgolin's life for one year

The torches beside the cell started to burn, and this was the signal for the goblin to wake up. After this year, many things have changed; For example, his body had become various times stronger, stronger than even the strongest goblin in his tribe. He now had a mature expression, because of all the hardships endured in this year for the sake of being free, and all the efforts were found to be fruitful. Indeed, in just three more months he would get his so precious freedom.

After waking up and reading a little bit of the latest book received from Alom, the goblin washed his face and went down to the kitchen; It was work time. He caught the knife and started to skin a big boar with no difficulty at all.

The boar was very important because it would be delivered to Bultharr, so all of the processes needed to be twice as carefully and delicate as normal and this just showed how they trusted Norgolin so much to the point of giving him such an important task. With the skinning process done, next was the boning; Hammer in hand, with the help of one of the chiefs, the goblin started to smash bone after bone, carefully choosing which one to break.

Now it was time for the rest of the chiefs to work, so Norgolin went to wash the wooden dishes. This gathering was very civilized, but not to the point of having fancy furniture or anything like that.

''Have you heard? They hunted this boar especially for Bultharr because of his last achievement; He got a Harpy egg! Don't know how he managed to sneak into the harpy territory though'' One of the Armons said.

''What? A harpy egg? Indeed, people are getting more and more daring these days. I remember when we hadn't found the Knowledge gem, and we couldn't even make a proper tool, or manage iron, just like our little green friend here, lol. Now our leader can even do crazy things like that'' Older Armon replied, without missing the chance to joke with the fact of the low intelligence of the goblins.

''Ok, let us concentrate on this boar right here, enough of the chitchat. Zezin, pass me the sauce, it's time to be fancy''

''All right Fétto, here it is, take it and stick it on this boar's ass so our boss doesn't go complain mode.''

Norgolin ignored the useless chatting, as he wasn't in the mood to talk about these strange harpies or retort again the jokes of some idiots. When working time was over, he went to do some exercises with his magic in secret; He used all the knowledge he could get from the books his friend gave and tried to manipulate the Mana and Battle Power at the same time. He could choose the easy way and use just one at a time but he was the protagonist, we know he wouldn't do that. During the year that passed, he had tried the same thing night after night, and today was when he progressed the most. Indeed, he got to make a ball of each energy in each hand, and with this, he was very happy; Now the goblin could try to develop his next plan, and that was to make an armor of Battle Power while using Mana balls to attack. But even if he spent 20 minutes to create the energy balls Norgolin was all spent. Not a single drop of Mana or Battle Power remained.

When Norgolin finally ended all he had to do in the day, he started to wonder...why was he so interested in knowledge? Why did his mom teach him to be like that? Did it happen just because he was the protagonist or there's something else about it? the goblin also couldn't understand how the Wisdom Gem made people so intelligent...maybe it was some heavenly treasure that would bring about destruction to the Armon race? Nah, that was too much of a cliche. What about a treasure that he would steal and absorb, making him incredibly powerful? Nope, he couldn't imagine how to use it, much less absorb it; So how did that little thing give intelligence to him? ''wait a minute...I remember a day when the Armons where in danger, so Bultharr said the gem ''told'' him about it, but if you think about it the gem was supposed to make people capable of discovering things, not revealing these things for them, so there is only one possibility; The gem isn't giving Wisdom, but teaching them how to do things! and this type of teaching(by dissertating about things, not just putting the knowledge in the brain) must have a sentient being behind it.''

All of this left just one possibility...The Wisdom Gem wasn't what they thought it was; Indeed, it was just a magical object used for communicating at long distances! And from this one can assume that there's someone controlling the Armon tribe from behind the scenes all this time. But this didn't explain how he got more and more intelligent each day(but that is a story for another time). He could either tell them about his discovery or...

''Screw this shit.'' First of all, he was here only because they captured him, so it wouldn't make him very fond of the race. Second, the only Armon he really cared about was Alom, and he couldn't tell just Alom because he didn't trust the rabbit enough for that. Last things last, all of them(the Armons) made fun of him and pissed the goblin every fucking day. So for all these reasons, Norgolin was even happy that they would get screwed up someday.

Norgolin immediately went to sleep, with his conscience clear.

It's a normal day in the cave. Alom has already woken up and is talking to something very strange; It's actually a hole in the ground. In this hole, two names are written: Anoric and Silmia.

''Father, Mother, your son is doing very well. Actually, I have even found a real friend, but I'm sure you would laugh at my face if you knew he is a goblin; But don't be worried, he is very intelligent and gets smarter every day and yes, this is very strange but I'm not in the place to go and ask bluntly for the reason.''

''ALOM, GET TO WORK, BOY! THE HUNTING TEAM WON'T CARRY THEIR OWN FOOD WITHOUT REASON YOU LITTLE LAZY BASTARD!'' Someone screamed

Alom almost shouted in rage when he heard this because this was a very special moment to him that he repeated every day. Alom was a very religious person and had always believed in communicating with spirits and this was one of the reasons for the jokes made about him. Indeed, this was how he met Norgolin, on a day when they both were made fun of at the same time.

The Armon put armor on and picked up the backpack; It was working time. Indeed, hadn't he worked as a walking backpack, the rabbit wouldn't have known all of the forests and where to go when he wanted to steal books.

When Alom arrived, he was greeted with more disapproval from the six Armons '' You're late, man. Next time you keep hanging around you will get some beating. Now, this is the plan: we're going to hunt near the Orc territory so watch out for any pig-like noise, although we aren't hunting such a big pig today. Our goal is to find a good deer but relax, I know there aren't a lot of these in this territory. It's just that in this forest that part is the only one that actually has deer to be hunted; These damn animals prefer to be in open plains.'' The leader of the expedition, a black-furred Armon with brown eyes and long brown hair named Dango spoke.

They departed, and after walking north for what it seemed to be one hour, they actually found a good deer sleeping between two trees. They couldn't miss this opportunity and immediately readied the two archers of the group.

''Lora, Lexy, aim for the head and leg respectively; If we miss the head we at least can limit its movement. Quickly, attack!'' Dango whispered.

They aimed for four seconds and shot their arrows.

    SWOOOOSH, PA!

The arrow aimed at the head hit the horn of the deer, and the one aimed at the leg hit its target. ''UIIIIIKK'' The deer started to run for its life; It was time for Dango and the warriors of the hunting group to act. They readied their weapons and started to give chase. Indeed, if it wasn't for the fact that the deer was injured, they wouldn't be able to run as fast as their prey, but the group actually reached the deer and stabbed another of its legs and it fell to the ground making a loud noise, after that they finished the poor animal.

As Alom was carrying all of the group's luggage, he was still at least 15 meters behind. He didn't know, but this very fact would save his life in just a little second.

VUPT, VUPT!! little noise was heard as the group saw various figures appear out of nowhere. Were it two or three they would be able to handle. However, there were actually thirty armored orcs surrounding them!! The Armon group readied their weapons, ready to fight for their lives. But the orcs were too many.

Dango fought bravely and managed to hurt two orcs and kill one before he and his entire group(except for Alom) were massacred by the ones they had previously called ''pigs''. The sight of the strong and tall(as tall as a normal Armon) orcs using their maces, hammers and even bows to butcher the group was just too cruel. Probably, these orcs had already found out about the group very early and had been waiting for the moment of happiness after the kill to ambush them and do what they had done.

Alom was so scared he almost couldn't run. Of course, it was ''almost''. The Armon ran with all he had and left the big backpack behind, Though the orcs couldn't care less about one Armon that seemed to be the weakest and just returned to their place.

When he reached the cave, Alom reported everything to Bultharr. As Alom was just useless in fighting and it wasn't his fault, Bultharr decided to leave the matter but one thing for sure was decided: The orcs would suffer.

The Armon just sat in his room, without crying or lamenting. This was his own way of dealing with trauma, silence. He kept silent in his mind and mouth for two hours. Unexpectedly, Norgolin appeared; Working time had been though on Norgolin but he still wanted to help his one and only TRUE friend.

''Hey, don't sit there like this. They won't come back from the dead even if you stay silent for years. Get over it, Man'' Norgolin said.

Alom wasn't a talkative person, but for some reason, he made an exception today and started to talk about his problems. ''It's just that I can't endure any more suffering from dead people. I didn't even have a friendship with any of them, instead, I hated each and every one of these bastards. But I've seen too many people die. My father was a hunter and my mother a tailor, and they died in a very cruel way. The very day they decided to give me a present: a sword, we were invaded by some wolves; my father fought with courage and strength, but he died protecting Bultharr. He was too loyal. My mother died just after because Bultharr, that bastard, wanted to make her his concubine and she suicided in shame. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DIE SO MISERABLY? WHY ARE GOOD PEOPLE ALWAYS THE FIRST TO DIE?'' Alom was already crying all he could as he said these last words.

Norgolin breathed deeply and said ''man, I don't know why, but if your father died like that it was his choice, so you need to be strong and become proud of the attitude he had. In what concerns your mother, I bet she was a good person too, so get over her death and make her proud wherever she is.''

The goblin gave Alom a big hug and stayed comforting him for some time.

At the Armon village, it was evening, a very beautiful evening. Everything was going smoothly and there was even the beautiful song of the birds; Nothing was wrong even though later on this would define the meaning of the expression ''calm before the storm''.

Inside the kitchen, Norgolin worked quite excited about the fact that he discovered how to accumulate energy. It was like this: one day, the goblin was going to skin a fox, but the cunning animal wasn't dead and he had to kill it ''again''. But when he killed the fox, the strange thing happened; Norgolin felt his Battle Power rise up a little. So actually Battle Power rose as the name suggested, by any type of battle. Although the goblin still wondered why the hell his power didn't increase when he struggled for hours against a damn rabbit at that time. Maybe it was because it would only rise if he killed an opponent that represented danger, as that damn rabbit was a herbivore and didn't have any type of defense other than its teeth. The only thing left was the Mana but he decided to focus on training the Battle Power to be more efficient without spending unnecessary time.

This was the first time Norgolin had done the job so skillfully and there was nothing else to do that he had been given a day off. He chose to go out and hunt some easy-to-kill animals and raise his Battle Power.

When the goblin reached the part where the foxes normally appeared and made their lair, strangely there wasn't even a single fox there. Instead, a few tens of meters away he saw a campfire.'' A campfire appearing here? out of thin air?'' The goblin wondered '' I could accept the risk and investigate carefully or just go away. But if I go away, I'll miss the precious chance to raise my Battle Power. Fuck it, I never received a day off and today isn't the day to miss such an opportunity.''

Norgolin readied his crude stone knife, approached until he reached a safe distance; Then, he climbed up the trees and started to jump from tree to tree, waiting for two or three minutes before jumping to the next tree. Jumping too fast would seem too suspicious, and as the goblin wasn't as heavy as the Armons or Orcs, he could make it seem like it was just a strong wind in the leaves. However, this wouldn't prevent noise from happening and the tree branches would still move. It was a danger indeed but screw it.

Half an hour later, he arrived at the campfire. There he discovered that it wasn't just a campfire, but an entire camp; And in this camp after scouting the area carefully for one hour, the goblin found at least 125 well-hidden tents.

''What the hell? Why are there humans here? 125 tents? If each tent can support 3 humans, that would make 375 of these pieces of shit. From what I overheard in the kitchen, no humans come here without a very special reason; Wait a moment...'' Right as he was about to complain more about these humans, he saw something very special in the hands of one of them that seemed to be the leader; He entered a beautiful tent guarded by two well-armored guards. '' A 'WISDOM GEM'! FUCK, THEY ARE HERE TO ATTACK THE ARMON VILLAGE!'' Norgolin almost shouted and cursed the humans. Why did they have to come just as there were a few days left for his freedom? Shit!

''Time to go, but wait. Alom is still in the village! I'll find a way to take him with me...'' An idea appeared in his head ''Hell no, I won't do that, I'm not fuckin' retarded...but if I come back, they will kill me for sure, It's past time to return...Fuck, time to go'' The goblin was too loyal to his friends and did the most dangerous and retarded decision of his life: Stealing the Wisdom Gem and using it to communicate.

Norgolin waited until night came, and all the humans went to sleep. He sure had to return, but of course, that didn't matter anymore. The goblin used All his knowledge from the patrol guards he observed for hours to wait until switching guards time. Sneaking up into a tree located in the center of all tents, Norgolin stopped to plan what he would do next. Five minutes later our green protagonist moved; He didn't have enough time but had to gamble in the Battle Power, so he started to concentrate all of the energy below the feet. However, a problem was: he didn't train to create something other than dangerous Energy and the last thing Norgolin needed right now was to create a little explosion and thirty seconds later have at least 50-100 angry humans fighting with him.

'' If there are any gods, please give me plot armor to learn this shit in two seconds and do it '' almost going wrong''...'' Norgolin started to pray. But the author wasn't that dumb. In other words, dumb but not cliche.

''Ah, fuck, go deeper'' Norgolin heard a loud feminine voice coming from the leader's tent. ''That's it! She is getting the 'D'! thank you plot armor, time to act''

Patiently, he waited for twenty seconds before they started to climax ''This idiot is a quick-shooter, and this girl seems to be faking pleasure. Good'' Norgolin lived in the goblin village for 14 days. It was sufficient time for a smart goblin such as himself to know when someone is faking pleasure.

When the girl screamed the loudest, he jumped behind the tent; They didn't hear a thing, hehe.

Now the last problem. Killing the leader wouldn't be that much of a problem, but what about these guards? For sure Norgolin wouldn't fight against them; Not even if he was paid for it. A brilliant idea appeared in his mind ''what a convenient idea, isn't it author? a goblin that was supposed to be dumb is intelligent, and as if that wasn't cliche enough, great ideas appear out of nowhere...'' Norgolin whispered to the skies.

The goblin finally used his damn knife for something other than cooking. He waited a little time and sleeping noise was heard. Then the knife was carefully used to slowly cut in the tent a hole wide enough for him to crawl in. Inside the tent, the leader was sleeping soundly, with the hot girl laying on top of him, also sleeping. The idiot leader was fat and had a well-shaved beard with color unknown because it was obviously dark inside, both of them were naked by the way. Norgolin's heart ran faster than he thought it could; The goblin was now facing his first time killing someone, but instead of feeling fear and disgust, he was excited. Otherwise, he wouldn't be a goblin.

SWOOSH! SPLASH! FUCK! this last one wasn't a sound, it was actually Norgolin's thought. Actually, the reason for that thought was that he didn't know human anatomy to know that if he cut a human's head, blood would spout from the neck. And guess what? It happened and the girl woke up; Who wouldn't wake up with a head dirtying one's face with blood?

''Ah...'' before the girl even started to scream, the goblin had already put his hand on her mouth and knife on her neck. Norgolin was so agitated he didn't think about killing her. Thinking well, he had done too many smart choices until now. It had given him a good feeling of being ''safe all the time even near danger''. When something went against the plan, his mind got messy.

''two choices: go with me to make they think you killed this idiot or I kill you, bitch'' He whispered; The girl nodded (as he spoke in Armon language and the humans had taught the Armons their own language) and they quickly exited the tent. Just after they ran away with the gem in hands, the guards suspected something and discovered the dead body. An alarm sounded and all the humans woke up.

The two of them ran fast, reaching the end of the tents quickly. A bad thing was: all of the humans were searching for them ready to kill.

''There, the girl and a goblin slave, catch these bastards!'' A damn guard's voice sounded and everyone started to run after the two fugitives. But Norgolin was too good with smells and strong as fuck; He carried the naked girl in his arms, running for his and her life. Time to use the Battle Power; Norgolin concentrated Battle Power in his feet and made little explosions before he hit the ground, boosting his speed.

Twenty minutes running and the protagonist was far and hidden enough, as well as out of Battle Power. Convenient time to hit the girl's head to knock her unconscious before going unconscious himself.

At the human camp, the real human leader, Leonard, was angry beyond reason; Using golden armor with an enormous beautiful green spear at his back, his face which was full of wrinkles contorted angrily and he almost ripped off his white hair.'' YOU PIECES OF SHIT CAN'T EVEN PROTECT MY ONLY SON FROM A BITCH AND A GOBLIN, IDIOTS!!!''

''My lord, we couldn't find the girl and goblin. That little green idiot ran with her in his hands and was as fast as a normal horse; We couldn't imagine a goblin can be so fast. He even used Battle Power'' Leonard's army's captain, Marcus spoke.

The air around them seemed to become scarce, and a great flood of energy could be sensed coming from Leonard.''I was going to wait until these Armons reproduced a little bit more to begin the ritual, but this is the last time I am careless. Call the orcs, the attack will begin in three hours. My son had already ordered Bultharr to start making the magic circles'' Immediately all the humans started to prepare the ''ritual''.

Leonard took his time to cry his son's death, inside his luxurious tent; His old body couldn't endure the pain of losing another son, after all that passed. He cried and cried until his tears didn't flow anymore; Not because of a lack of sadness, but cause there were no tears left to cry. All the tears had vanished. ''I can't be sad forever. No, I'm a general! I need to continue being strong and get my revenge!'' Leonard pulled out a Wisdom Gem from his pocket and sent an order to the kingdom. Not to call an army or tell King Seuron about victory as he usually did; Leonard sent an order to prepare the greatest funeral possible.

Sadness apart, they began to march toward the Armons. Although they didn't know if Bultharr had completed all the tasks given by Leonard, no one questioned Leonard's order to be faster.

    ~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~//~~//

While all of this happened, Norgolin and the ''prostitute'' named Laura walked peacefully somewhere deep in the forest...Now that he got to stop and analyze, this girl was quite the hot beauty; Long blonde hair along with blue eyes, curvy body, big breasts and a round butt that would make other girls die of envy. His superior sense of smell didn't help a lot since this was an unknown part of the forest to the goblin, so any smell there would be new.

''Do you know anything about this part of the forest, girl? Norgolin asked

''No, not a lot; I'm just a normal chemistry scholar, so I wasn't exactly given a map of this place.'' Laura answered ashamed of being so ''useless''

''It's ok, but one thing you need to tell me for sure: why are these stupid humans here?? from what I know they wouldn't come without a very good reason,'' Norgolin asked his voice getting angrier each word.

''Oh, that I know; They are here for the ritual.'' She said in a relaxed manner.

''What exactly is this damn ritual and why did they teach Armons so much before coming to do it?'' He went directly to the point, no beating around the bush.

''I know it's actually very strange, but it is for the sake of something called evolution. We offer a civilization intelligent enough to develop themselves and have political organizations, moral values, etc. The magic circles absorb all Mana, body and being of the race, returning such things in the form of an evolution for one human. When one evolves, one is granted a bigger ''Mana Pool'' as they call it, and a very big lifespan, as well as some changes in appearance. However, there are two disadvantages: 1- Evolution takes one year to be complete 2- When evolution is complete, the evolved human gets infertile and for men, they get an erectile dysfunction, so they can't make an entire race of evolved people; The second reason is why the king doesn't try it, that bastard likes sex a lot.'' Laura had to catch her breath after explaining all of these things, as she talked quite fast.

''Hmmm, so that is why they didn't hurry up. These bastards want to use the Armons as much as possible'' Norgolin said in a low tone of voice. ''Last question: how do I use this damn communication gem?''

''channel your mana into it and talk to the gem.'' Laura taught him.

''Ok'' Norgolin immediately started to pout all of his mana into the gem... Three minutes after this process the gem shined. ''Bultharr, quickly search for an Armon named Alom and ask him to go deep into the forest, as deep as he can, and make a campfire; Order him to stay near the campfire as much time as he can.''

''Now going to a not so serious talk, how the hell did you end up having sex with that fat guy?'' Norgolin asked

''You know, I'm very poor, and each year the king orders his knights to go searching for the most beautiful girls they find and bring them to him. I just happened to be one of them and became the king's concubine since then. This isn't the worst fact though; King Seuron took a liking for me, and gave me as a present to Leonard, although he is very old. Therefore, I was given to his son. That's how I ended up with that tiny dick of his in my insides.

''That's sad but ok, now time to walk, thank you for explaining all of these things for me. It must have been very boring for you.'' Norgolin said as he started to walk faster.

    ()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()

Inside the village, Alom got quite surprised by Bultharr giving this order so suddenly, but he quickly departed. The farther from that cave the better, even more with Norgolin's sudden disappearance.

Alom stopped walking when he reached a place he recognized to be near the tribe where Norgolin was born; All of the descriptions Norgolin gave him helped him recognize it. The Armon prepared the campfire and lighted it up. From this far distance, Alom could see the Armon cave shining black, and an enormous black dome of energy being formed; Looks like a great tribulation has arrived. Now he knew the reason for that order... From what he heard that these were strict orders from the Gem, it seems there is someone caring for his safety, and the only one he could imagine to be doing this was Norgolin.

Norgolin and Laura saw the campfire and started to walk toward it. While they were on their way, Laura got quite curious about the goblin.

''Can I ask you a question?'' She asked for permission because she knew her state right now wasn't one of equal authority; She could even be called his slave.

''Of course, as long as it doesn't piss me off'' Norgolin said relaxed.

''Why are you so calm and even happy with the Armons dying? I understand that you were a slave and wouldn't harbor many good feelings toward them, but didn't you have some friends there? And what about the danger incoming?'' Laura blushed as she spoke. She didn't like to ask uncomfortable questions.

''Well, I did have friends there. But they weren't very close; The only close friend I have managed to escape with the warning you saw me make. So with their deaths, It is one less civilization bothering me. Of course, I know about the danger of evolution waiting for me in one year, but I can't do much about it. Even if I cultivate 24/7 all year long, I wouldn't get strong enough to face an army. And all of this sums up with the fact that we are located, from what I know, in the middle of the forest and the only way out that doesn't involve walking into enemy territory is by going toward the human kingdom, so I am trapped in this forest, the only option is to hide.'' Norgolin explained

''That's really complicated...'' Laura pondered for a while before continuing ''Now that I think about it, you didn't come from the Armons did you? If you have a village, you can ask for help there'' She suggested

''It would be a good idea, but those idiots only listen to the chief or someone very important, and goblins are very primitive; Furthermore, I don't know blacksmithing so we wouldn't be able to make weapons strong enough to compete against the gear of humans,''Norgolin said.

''Well, that would be simple: First, you defeat their current chief and conquer their respect; Then you start teaching them how to properly swing a weapon/understand commands. Even if they were the dumbest of races, it wouldn't be very difficult to teach principles such as thinking before attacking and not swinging your weapon randomly. As for gear, you could teach them how to use a hammer, as from what I heard you were a cook(AUTHOR: they had quite a bit of time to talk about random things while they walked) and then use high fertility rate to make an enormous army.'' Laura proved to be quite intelligent, as expected from someone who lived near a king.

Norgolin almost shouted in happiness ''So that's it! thank you, I didn't think about such things'' New motivation seemed to come from Norgolin. He had been a slave almost all of his life, and this was the first time he had a chance to fight for his freedom and had time to plan his next steps. One year of slavery had suppressed his nature that was lively to the point of being childish, and this very nature was appearing again.

They kept walking for an entire day, talking about pretty much everything and exchanging experiences. In this time, Norgolin grew the seed of the idea of an organized goblin society in his heart. It was slowly becoming a rock-hard determination.

When Alom saw his friend arriving with a hot beauty, he was very happy. ''Finally, you arrive here, little green aberration!! Haha, I have been pondering about who the hell warned me about that damn magic, not surprised that it was you though.'' He greeted his friend and the beauty. ''But tell me now, you pimp, who is this beautiful lady?"

''My name is Laura, glad to meet you. I am an alchemist scholar, I take it you are Norgolin's friend, Alom?'' She said in an educated manner.

''Yes, glad to meet ya too, my lady. Now explain to me, Norgolin...How did you use the Wisdom Gem, and why are you with this lady?'' Alom was quite curious.

''It's a long story, sit down'' Norgolin said. All of them sat around the campfire, and Norgolin told Alom all that happened. The Wisdom Gem being a Communication artifact, how he obtained it, why the Armons died, everything. Alom got quite sad knowing all Armons would be used as a sacrifice for some humans, after all, he grew up with them. But he remembered all he had suffered there and this made him relax a little. All Alom needed was some time to process the information.

After some minutes, Alom started to speak ''About creating a goblin civilization, I have something to say; We are very near what seems to be your former village, Norgolin. So I suggest you sharpen your knife''

Norgolin was happy to know about this, so after resting for a while, they all began to walk toward the village.

When they arrived at the village, they were greeted by a bunch of goblins with crude wooden clubs and angry faces.

''I want to challenge to the chief, so take me to him. Don't make me ask again''Norgolin ordered.

One of the goblins took the initiative to run in his direction shouting like an idiot, and when the goblin's club was about to reach Norgolin, he caught the club with his bare hands and threw it like it was nothing. For someone who had to do manual labor for an entire year, doing this was as easy as breathing. Then he punched the goblin's chest so hard the goblin was sent flying 3 meters away. He looked at the other goblin ''Will you take me to him or not?'' The other goblin ran away screaming like a little girl. After five minutes, the chief appeared.

The goblin chief was a goblin 1,50m tall, bigger than any other goblin. He had a strong build, as strong as Norgolin and had a rough face covered by scars. His eyes were red, his head was bald and he was named Crowder.

Both of them stared at each other. Norgolin was 1,40m tall, so he looked small compared to Crowder.

''Let see you strong as talk say'' Crowder said with a strong voice.

Crowder readied his big stone axe, holding it with both hands. Then he started to charge toward Norgolin, ready to attack.

Norgolin's blood boiled. This was his first time in a real fight, against a strong enemy. He immediately readied his knife and waited for the enemy. Crowder swung his axe vertically, aiming Norgolin's head. Norgolin quickly dodged to the right, almost getting his arm chopped off. Crowder proved to be very agile, and swung his weapon again horizontally, this time going for Norgolin's ribs. Our protagonist did his best to defend with the knife, but the axe was just too strong, and the knife broke. He was lucky that the axe was too big, and goblins didn't know how to make big things sharp, so when the weapon landed in Norgolin's ribs, two were broken, he was sent flying for 1 meter and hit the ground, but he was still alive. Just with a big cut on his left side, of course.

He quickly got up again, just to see Crowder swinging his weapon vertically(again) toward him. His only reaction was to use his final resource: Battle Power. But this time, instead of trying an explosion without certainty of killing the enemy, he decided to use it in another way he had been training. In this very split second, he canalized all of his power into the right arm and used it to defend. Norgolin hoped this crazy choice helped him in any way. And it did. When the axe hit his arm, the upper part actually broke! Crowder was stunned for a little time, and when he regained his composure, Norgolin had already started to do an uppercut using the arm infused with battle power. Crowder tried to defend by putting his hands on the way, but it was too late. Norgolin's arm hit his chin and his chin broke. The chief fell back and hit the ground. Norgolin used this chance to quickly punch Crowder's face with Battle Power again, and the chief's face got destroyed in just one punch.

Norgolin was surprised that Battle Power could be so strong if used this way. But then he realized something. The reason why his Battle Power always exploded was because of his lack of control, it was not the proper way to use it. And that's the reason it was so weak when used this way. However, now he found the right way. Battle Power is actually meant to be used as a boost, not exactly a magic casted toward enemies.

His friends ran toward him with happy expressions, but he was so tired and his broken ribs hurt so much that he didn't have a lot of time to celebrate. He laid on the ground and started to scream in pain.

Laura realized Norgolin's state. ''Alom, quickly search the forest for a herb 20cm tall, with four leaves that have red stripes. Go!''

As Alom went running to search the herb, Laura caught a lot of leaves from a nearby tree and started to place them in the cut, to stop blood from flowing. Indeed, she wasn't a doctor but as an alchemist, she knew a bit about medicine.

Ten minutes later, Alom was back with the herb, and she quickly started to knead it in a pot. Right after, she opened Norgolin's cut ''AAAAAAHHHH FUUUUCK!!'' He shouted in pain.'' ENDURE IT PLEASE'' Laura answered. then she spread the remains of the herb in the broken rib parts and connected them again. After doing this, she closed the injury again and waited for Norgolin's body to regenerate naturally.

After two hours of agonizing pain, Norgolin's blood on the wound had coagulated. He passed out because of the blood loss and woke up just 2 days later, almost eating every rock he could see(of course, after losing so much blood and not eating for two days one could imagine his current state). He ordered some goblins to bring tons of food for him, ate all of it and slept again.

Two hours later, Norgolin was revigorated. The wound still hurt, but it wasn't something he couldn't endure; He got up and walked toward the door, and when he opened, Norgolin could see his friends waiting for him.

''Finally, you can walk, damn goblin. I thought you would die after losing that much blood, but you are indeed a hard nut to crack.'' Alom greeted the goblin with a punch on his good ribs.

Beside Alom was Laura, who had a relieved face '' Thank the gods you didn't die, I hope my natural glue works on your ribs''

''Thank you, Laura. I know you didn't have any obligation to save me, yet you did; I am very relieved that you don't carry any grudges against me.'' Norgolin said.

''It was nothing, you saved me from these damn idiots, it's the least I could do'' Laura said while blushing so much her cheeks were as red as a tomato.

Norgolin finally remembered to check his body for Battle Power; Of course, his Power had risen sharply! if his previous Battle Power could be compared to a cup of water, now it would be a big bottle. However, this wasn't the biggest gain as what mattered the most was that he learned a proper way to use it and this gave Norgolin something previously unheard of to him: The possibility of a training schedule. One had to know Norgolin had almost no time to train back at the Armons and didn't know a thing about using his energy, so what he could do was almost nothing.

Our protagonist searched for hunter chief Carlin, as he would be very useful when it concerned information; Carlin was an old goblin who had probably explored a good amount of the forest.

When Norgolin found the hunter chief, he was eating a big piece of raw meat. Dumb goblin, he thought Norgolin arrived to steal his meat.

    ''MINE!"' Carlin said.

''Relax, I'm not here to steal. I'm here just for information, so you have to collaborate.'' Norgolin replied, calmly.

    ''Information? What want to know?''

This irritating speech almost gave Norgolin, who had already learned how to speak properly at the Armons, a headache. Nevertheless, he continued '' use your arm to point out which direction has the most dangerous animals''

Norgolin knew a thing or two about where enemy territories were located by overhearing old Armons talk, but what he didn't know was which side would be proper to hunt and which would get he and the others killed; Indeed, luck is what saved him from finding dangerous animals all this time.

''There, Iron-Tailed wolves; There, spiked lions; There, lizardmen; There, eagle-women'' Carlin pointed out four dangerous directions, according to what he had experienced.

''Thank you, hunter chief,'' Norgolin said and started walking toward his hut; Time for some learning.

Laura was waiting for him, as he expected. She looked quite bothered by something.

''Err, Norgolin, I have something to ask for'' She said.

''Of course, you can request anything as long as it isn't too much.''

''Well, the thing is: I am human, as you can see. But we humans aren't used to...being naked in front of others... so I wanted something to use as clothing'' Laura said. She had indeed searched for something on their way here, but she couldn't find anything similar to a rope to tie leaves or something like that and use. After the girl saw how goblin weapons were tied with vines, she hoped they could get some for her.

''So it's like that, I thought it would be something more complicated. There is only one problem: The tree we get vines from is located right next to that damn human camp, so we can't get it for now,'' Norgolin had a complicated face as he said that. He didn't care much about clothing, because goblins didn't have anything such as shame and the Armons didn't care about a goblin slave walking without any clothing, so he didn't consider hiding anything. Even more so when he had an enormous ''D'' down there. He continued '' You will need to get used to it. Sorry.''

''Ah...It's okay'' Laura tried to comfort herself.

''Now it is my time to ask for something; As you know, I am not that versed in things such as basic math, knowledge about minerals, etc. Can you teach me?'' The goblin said, quite ashamed of himself, as the books he read weren't for children, so they wouldn't be teaching basic things like these.

''Of course, we can start right now'' Laura felt relieved that it wasn't something complicated.

This was how Norgolin started to learn. One couldn't teach what one didn't understand; He had to learn all before taking the next step toward creating a goblin civilization.

Norgolin's routine went like this: At morning, he practiced coating his body with Battle Power; In the afternoon, he had classes with Laura about Math, Chemistry, and general knowledge; At night, he actually went out to hunt in order to raise his Battle Power and train his combat ability. Indeed, this last part almost got him killed(again) when he found a spiked Lion, killing it only after using all of his Battle Power. Every five days, he would reunite with five goblin females he took a liking to, teach them proper speech and fuck with them as well. Yes, after one year without sex, his lust was almost unbearable, so he used this opportunity to release all of it. This gave him a lot of sons, but he didn't care.

That was how he lived for three months
