did the chapters get renumbered? my last chapter read is chapter 654, which is now 678. the new chapter picks off directly from there plot wise, and is numbered 679.

From what I remember the story said that if YZ infiltrate saint clan main City to conduct his mission impossible to steal their technology the success rate is too low so he gamble his luck on the 3rd stage with the unknown and free upgrade to lvl10 equipment the temptation is too strong in the chapter.
in the first world, he abandons his people and it's ok cuz they're decently set up. in the second world, they're on the brink of extinction though...
Was thinking the same thing. I get that the temptation of a lvl 10 treasure is HUGE, like really HUMONGOUS and all, but as you said, it's okay to 'abondon' those of the 1st world but I don't understand why he did so for the 2nd one.....did he AT LEAST tell them he was going somewhere else for a long time? Cuz I definitely don't remember him telling them....normally it will be mayhem now in the resistance but meh I guess with plot everything will be resolved and that their 'respect, awe and fear for MC' will stop them from rebelling? ( tho I don't think so since when he communicated with the 1st world from the 2nd one author mentione that those who had ambitions quelled them.....but yea if someone is out for a looooooong time it's normal that 'memories of him' are becomming more blurry....)
Im ch 317 and i like the novel and will continue to read it but i still have some probs The author should know some basic knowledge but he doesnt Like Most Humans can survive without food for at least 10-15 days a normaly even 20 to 30 Some with more fat even longer Then theres The Speed 10 times the normal human and he still takes 7 secs to cross 100 meters lol When the fastes man alaive rn can do it in 9.8x Does this mean hes 7x faster than a normal human? No Thats at most 1.5 to 2x lol And a few other basic probs but whatever I JUST HAD TO WRITE THIS SOMWHERE
Keep in mind that most of these authors are not majors in Mathematics or Physics. When reading stories like these, you'll just have to make yourself immune to the scientific calculations and just pay attention to the "concept" of the story and message it's trying to send. That is how you'll enjoy the story to the fullest.
Most CN authors usually have the habit of bad math and bad logic. I'd rather ignore it and enjoy the badass moments and combats while they last and GDW certainly has quite a lot of those.
Over time I've really come to enjoy reading about what the author thinks of other countries etc, it's hilarious. The westerners were usually more open and uttered profanities without much care. However, it was effective, as when a man and woman took a liking to each other, a one-night stand was likely to occur, as compared to the long courtship of the eastern world.
