Su Hao went from 400 to 500 points in his physical fitness. And he managed to get a perfect score with that. I wonder what Zhou Wang’s physical fitness is at for him to get 560.

Su Hao didn’t even come first in the whole exam and already they’ve decided reconciliation. Unfortunately for them it’s too late~

no you're wrong.
technically 400 is the LIMIT of the human body, so anything above 400 is ASSUMED to be due to origin ability.
however MC score of 500 is not due to origin ability so this assumption is wrong, making machines that measure it wrong.

i am guessing that nobody have ever went past 400 and tests have been done so it's programmed that 400 is the max and anything above is ignored or treated as origin ability

however that said, it is interesting how they measure physical score. in the earlier chapters when MC was grinding physical score, he did it by learning new martial arts and it was mentioned that the physical score is scored accordingly to how far you have learnt the martial art.
if this is the case, then physical score isn't really a score of the human body, but how far one has mastered the martial art, which has a requirement on the body

 

So I was right for the entire universe inside this novel until the MC broke what they thought was law.
I don't think anyone misconstrued that 400 is considered the max by the society in the novel. (as of this chapter)
Everything past that was considered Origin Ability, because it could usually only go over 400 with the help of the OA.

 

I don't think it is assumed but rather just how they allocate it in terms to grading someone's ability.
I remember it being described in such as way that made me think a lot of people have gone past 400..
on another note, you need to reach 400 to even be a specialised esper so it gets iffy and etc..

 

no. it was never said that there were alot of people above 400 points of physical. the novel only said that there were people who had scores above 400 but it was only due to OA.

the thing is that MC is breaking the world's common sense here. if you remember the early chapters, the author said that 400 is max, it is impossible to go higher, because like i said, the world's way to score physical ability is to learn martial arts. there is no martial arts to bring you past 400. the last one was advanced police/military/whatever training (i cant remember) and the MC said that when learning it that he had to crack his bones and was stupidly painful.

it was never stated that they actually test his strength to get his physical stats so unless the MC comes out and states that he actually has 500 physical stats, nobody will know unless they(university or whoever) has another way to test the body


the novel has made it out such that all espers are combatants, so therefore it's not a surprise that 400 physical ability is a requirement.

As for the requirement for being an esper,
doesn't seem to be anything to do with being combatants but laying foundations to withstand a qualitative change in the energies they use and etc

ability association sells their own, different intermediate potion
there are probably many other methods as well..
(and if the ability association sells a potion for it, I think it is fair to assume a lot of people already broke through the 400 limit, just that the assessment software just allocates all extra points in the ability part .. rather than just assuming it is due to the ability, not that it isn't possible for an ability to enhance the physical like sun yaotian)

On one hand 400 is already way beyond super humans...
But maybe it is also referring to before the era of abilities in that back then no one had special energy, and the animals were normal and there were probably less crazy minerals and resources so 400 seems to be the accepted limit except for maybe some determined people ... so it is more of a rough guideline rather than a strict rule.
(also maybe there are special cases where you need less than 400 to become esper or cases where even people with 450 or 500 still fail when they break through and maybe die/explode?)

 

So everyone thinks MC is suffering under a 400pts Master.
But will the system award him with extra points for lasting/beating a 500pts master?
Crowd sees Su Hao get beat up, but somehow he gets over max possible score?

I feel like Su Hao should have just had 5 instructors instead of 4.
The system just set the 4th to max for everyone.
I get it, but everyone's surprise at a strange 5th instructor would be great.

How do they calculate the level of the grandmaster each person fights? How will the one SH fights compare to the one others might fight~

Just started to read this and have been wondering: when does the cover illustration make sense? Does he actually wear that armour?

 

Yeah, it's funny though 'never seen before adding quantum computing!' Meanwhile MC's brain ends up becoming faster with each evolution of his ability. It might be something only 'they' can process or learn.

You really cant judge a LN based on its picture, but Su Hao's goal really is to control the world like a god with his ability.
