Discussion Good Nintendo Switch Games

I want a new game for my Nintendo switch, preferably a single player Jrpg game but I'm cool with any game as long as you think it is a must have game. Any good recommendations?

 

Man I wish I have a Switch to try out Astral Chain.

anything nintendo basically will be worth the time

 

For a jrpg maybe Octopath Traveler.
For must have games? Hollow Knight if you haven't played it on a different platform. Pretty challenging metroidvania.

And then there's the standard Zelda BOTW and Mario and whatnot.

 

If I had a Switch, I would play Dies irae again on Switch.

 

I'd recommend Daemon X Machina; former From Soft staff got tired of wait for the next Armoured Core game so they left the company and made their own. Pretty great if a tad short. Ys viii lacrimosa of dana is a good JRPG (Like Xenoblade but actually good)

 

Okami and Dark Souls

 

I just picked up Dragon Quest XI and Astral Chain and I have to say I'm loving both. The only complaint I had was that Astral Chain makes more use of the R bumper(not the ZR bumper) than the other games I've played, so it felt a little weird because it's so thin. Even then I really enjoy the game, I'm just picking up a Pro Controller that has that wider L/R button reminiscent of Dualshock controllers to make myself comfortable.

 

I'm more or less a fan of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE ENCORE. Sure, it gets a lot of flack for the censorship thing but... it really only effects one part of the story, and unless you're aware of it, you ain't gunna notice. Just be aware it's about japanese entertainment industry.

Also Xenoblade Chronicles 2. While I wasn't a fan of it, it is fairly loved by most of who played it. My... PTSD of XenoSaga got in my way of enjoyment of it. But I can't deny it's a solid action JRPG.
