Mushoku Tensei is simply more than that, it is an Epic comparable to Tate no Yuusha if not better. Highly recommended and the ending was simply a breath of fresh air, incomparable to any other JN out there.
Some recommendation, Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyusoukyoku is a good casual read and it has just completed translation.
Have you tried King of Gods? I think it has everything you need.a smart mc , a one who started up weak and became strong through hard work and intilligance and throughout the whole story he was only interested in two girls and he actually have good reasons for that not just because they are pretty. There also Release that Witch if you would like some purely intilligence and knowledge based lightnovels
Lifesavers!! I have read The Earth is Online, its pretty good. And OMG I through a lot of difficulty found Legend of Swordsman by myself but I guess I should have checked here first huh? Thanks you guys!! I wonder if this'll evolve into a an awesome post of super good novel
Yes, they have personality unlike ATG. All characters have personalities and flaws And as he said: It's very true.
Ohh I found one non harem, gotta check it out though ~ Dominating Sword Immortal, Lady Cultivator ( title says it all)
Your examples cover a pretty broad spectrum, but I gather by and large what you're looking for is cultivation + nonharem + not TOO edgy. A lot of folks have done good suggestions already so I'll just share a handful I've been vibing with recently: If you haven't read it already I gotta shout out Cultivation Chat Group. If you can get past the very slow pacing it's one of the funniest and most unpredictable stories out there. What I love most is that while the MC is certainly OP, he's not cool. The story is pretty merciless in finding all kinds of creative ways to embarrass him and make him look like a fool. Very little romance here, but all the romantic leads are funny in their own way. (Yes leads plural but it's not harem I swear. ) It's not purely a cultivation novel (although cultivation is an element) but I've always enjoyed Super God Gene. I think it went under the radar for a lot of people because the start is kinda generic. The story goes more interesting places over time, it especially stands out for a Sci-Fi novel, it's really got a very different feel from many of its closest competitors. If you want a female MC I really like Ascending, Do Not Disturb. It's just a really sweet romance story that never fails to put me in a good mood. The main couple is cute, and I really love the way the world of cultivators is depicted. Finally, I just finished reading Martial Arts Master. Not a true cultivation novel but imma plug it anyway. It's about martial arts in a pro sports context, with a little bit of supernatural power thrown in to spice it up. MC is super down to earth and hardworking. Some people I think don't care for the romance, especially how so much of it is long distance (that is, over text message etc) but as someone who's dated that way in the past I really appreciated it. Both MC and FL for me are super entertaining and well developed.
That’s true, I surely gave a big list huh? I’ve tried My Disciple Died Yet Again. Is ADND the same way? I guess I must try the other three though. I hope there’s more cultivation terms than sports in the last one though.
I remember you!! You’ve recommended the same three novels on another post too! And you also told me there’s really not much yuri stuff in them. I’m planning to start Female General
i’ve transmigrated into this movie before Doomsday Wonderland why harem intrigue when you can raise a dog
Doomsday Wonderland... female MC? I’ve tried reading it but it seemed a little scatterbrained at first..
This seems like a useful list to follow, a lot of some of the initial titles mentioned are things I came across and plan to read after being burned by a few more standard series and doing lots of searching through reviews/lists/threads. It would be interesting to hear back how some of the other recommendations go for people.
