Discussion Grancrest Senki

So I just watched ep 4 of Grancrest Senki and just... why the fuck is the pacing like this? Almost nothing is explained at all and the character development is abysmal, though i cant seem to drop it cause I like the art. What is the story of this in terms of world and powers. and who else feels the same about the pacing

 

I mean you can tell they didn't bother with character development when the guy agrees to have the girl as his mage with no explanations.

Budget and probably the contract agreed on showing most of the story, either way it is a far cry from the manga

it's a game based and besides it's "fan service " for shounen
don't expect intelligent character or logic in it

Manga shows just how rushed the anime is, if it wasn’t so rushed though this would have been a great anime.

 

Shame that such terrible anime has a good animation. And the ML is just terrible.

 

logically the mc and girl don't have the right to take over territory
the invading knight could have invading the territory long before ,seeing how sh*tty the previous lord was

I agree on the character development, but the rest may be intentional. They dole out enough to roughly understand

 

Just read the Manga, at least it's cute and better than the anime, they've axed a lot of critical points and they've rushed the plot

 

Animation is good, but the characters and story is so lackluster...dropped.

 

I was really impressed with episode 11. I love how it played out.
