News Gravity Tales now has a Licensing Agreement with Zongheng!

    Hi everyone,

    We're elated to tell you that we have signed a licensing and publishing deal with one of the major Chinese web novel publishers, Zongheng!

    This agreement is for Shura's Wrath, Master of the Stars and Immortal and Martial Dual Cultivation!

    Zongheng is a Beijing-based publisher and also a member of Baidu. It's one of the biggest sites in the Chinese web novel industry.

    So what does this licensing deal mean?
    First of all, we are now the official English publisher for these three novels, with no risk of being hit by a sudden DMCA takedown or of running into other issues. It also means that we can begin to publish ebooks on platforms such as Amazon, so stay tuned for more news about that in the next few months!

    This is a major step forwards for Gravity Tales, and we hope that it will be the first of many.

    Congratulations!!! If you got the time,please pick up Imperial God Emperor as well. I think it is from the same place.

    Congrats!! I've been hoping you guys could reclaim some security!! I'll second the pickup of imperial god emperor (i think it just restarted on some site called wuxiadream) since it has 250+ chapters already translated and that standard xianxia bent that in most popular or at least universally appealing

    Is it just me, or are all the major sites striking deals with different publishers. Are the novels going to be segregated by Chinese site because of this?

    There is a good chance of segregation as these Chinese sites are competitors and qidian is actively pursuing it's own building of a site for its novels.

    True. I was half-hoping they'd strike deals with multiple sites, especially after they allowed TKA to stay at Gravity Tales too, but it probably won't happen. And at this rate, the non-Qidian novels will also be segregated... :/

    Glad to hear GT has gone official and has more staying power. Plus no risk of over lap with WW if you have 2 different publishers lol Buying books on amazon is also a great perk to us and the staff.

    I am happy about this, Zongheng have a bunch of good novels such as Sheng Wang, Imperial God Emperor and Infinity Armament. And I am certain that there are many more that I am not aware of. But I am curious about what will happen to some of the most popular novels licensed by Zongheng. World of Cultivation, Hail the King, Against the Gods and Great Demon King for example. I am unaware if some of the translators of these novels have deals with Zongheng as well, can someone enlighten me?

    This may be a good thing when Authors have works set in a multiverse, readers don't have to jump sites to check references.
