its different from each brand or model but it alwas fn+( f1-f12)keys mine is dell fn+f8, and my old laptop is fn+f7
I have the opposite. I can't seem to automatically have my laptop go to sleep mode... I tried going to the power options and it says it's already set to sleep. Is it a hardware problem?
Probably a program in the background that stop it from going to sleep mode. You can always check in the ones launched to see
the laptop often have some blue img on the F buttons.... you keep clicked on the fn(the one near the ctrl) button and then select the F button(the f1, f2 ecc buttons) with the img of a retangle with a sun inside and a blue retangle. this turn off the monitors but keep the pc on....you have to disable the battery opnion that turn off the pc after some time or set it for a long time...
