Discussion Harem’s heroines is similar to shoujo/josei male leads

Whenever I read Chinese novel, I feel harem heroines characters is similar to shoujo josei male leads. I even see harem heroines as josei male lead in novel when reading harem. Even see male lead as harem heroines when reading josei. Both are only tender to MC but ruthless to other. Both are loyalty to mc. They are arrogant and powerful, they have high background. Both are called most beautiful/handsome in novel. Male MC and female MC always fall for their beauty.

 

Don't forget how they eventually become flower vases and the protagonist goes off to collect more.

 

Well, as long as it's not an arc-specific male lead who we never hear from again till the end of the novel/manga, if ever.
