Recommendations Harem Storys with some Romance

Hey,


I wanted to ask, if you may could recommend some good and light harem Light Novels with some actual romance?

I’m not looking for any tragic story or something like that. I just would like to have something as Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni (but with more romance) or Magika no Kenshi to Basileus. That should mean, the girls are fine with the harem as well, the MC is not a useless pervert, they kiss each other sometimes/ dates/ spend time together etc.

Would be great if you know anything like that =D

But actually I prefer the Japanese stuff and don't really like Chinese or other Asian novels :x

You make it sound like there's absolutely no romance in harem.

 

I was going to recommend Magika but you're already reading/read it i see.

I'd recommend Campione (which you can find the PDFs if you search enough)
Juuou Mujin no Fafnir (Unlimited Fafnir) is another option.
Leviathan of the Covenant.
Masou Gakuen HXH is similar to Magika but with a lot more ecchi.

Those are the only JP harems with actual romance that come to mind.

There arent that many JP harems that have actual romance and development. Most are subplot or psuedo-romance with dense MFs.

Since I don't know what you have already read, I suggested a few that could probably interest you.

PS: You said you don't like CN much, but I'll recommend this to you: Long Live Summons!. It's a great novel for those who like harem.

 

As Sabruness said, there aren't that many Harems with real romance. I am totally fine if there isn't an overload of romance in them, but after 200+ chapters i just want more than a single "i love you". If they love each other and are together for such a long time, isn't it normal that you at least kiss sometimes or just spend some sweet time together? I don't need anything more, since i am not really looking for R-18 stuff, but at least a bit real relationship should be possible xD


Btw. thanks already for all those tips. I have to go to uni in a few minutes, so i will have a look later on all those titles ^^ But feel free to name more, if you have anything in mind xD @Dat_Karma: if you know a harem title that has some actual romance in your opinion, just name it ^^ i am happy about every story i can get. And maybe I’ll read something with less romance first, just because i prefer the story ^^

Please be aware that i said JP Harems not harems in general. I do read CH and other harems as well. Even then, sometimes, theres not much real development.

I believe OP was also talking in the context of JP novels and asked for JP novels. He didnt ask for or mention chinese novels in his original post.

Similarities:
Both Story was about Conquering, aiming the top of the world, which is to become an Emperor. Lots of intelligent plot and lots of medieval realism, low fantasy setting and more into technical fighting aspect than relying on magic based fights.

Differences
Road to Kingdom is an Erotica, has a lot of sex, and the MC is manly, he's a pervert but he respects women, reliable person and quite badass, he's like Guts from Berserk. His character design is too old for him so use Lancer's Character Design


Sevens - there's no sexual content, and it was thoroughly being encouraged a lot by the Ancestors, just think of them as Handsome Male Grandpa Harem. But the MC doesn't get chicks easily, he 'Courts' them properly, has a lot of deep and intelligent discussion about harem and courting women. From your pathetic idealist to Gigolo realist, I would say he developed in some extent but he's still a beta. Well there's Mr.Lyle, the best Alpha Male I've ever seen so far, probably one of the hardest Protagonist to Find, just him alone made Sevens incredible. The best Romantic Moment would be Vera x Mr.Lyle, although there's a lot of romantic moments in the harem especially Aria, she got the best story of Fate and Love. Best MC so far
