Recommendations Hated protagonist

Hullo! I just caught up with My death flags shows no signs of ending and I'm kinda in the mood for some tragic protagonists who are hated by everyone because of some bad rumours or because they've done some awful things in the past but they're good now, something like that. I've already read Founder of Diabolism, Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, Main Character Hides His Strength, and Dragoon. (I think Trash of the Count Family is like this but the bad impressions of the public for Cale dissipated after that plaza bombing incident)

I have no problems with Yaoi but I have huge problem with harems so no harems please.

Erm...I've been there and I've read most of it. I have this impression that not all novels are properly tagged so I was looking for suggestions that may have escaped the "hated protagonist" tag.

 

NEET receive a dating sim system. But people stopped hating him after he become thinner and handsome.

 

But then i started hating him again when he acted too beta.

Mushoku Tensei has one particular arc like that. It's the only part I still like
Kaze no Stigma, though it's on the lighter side
Deadman Wonderland (manga)
DenYuuDen. The first series is rather comedic about the rumors, but the information warfare is more serious in DaiDenYuuDen. And then there are the eyes of course.
Index New Testament also has a rather fun / depressing / horrific chapter like that, but it'll take awhile to get to. It's worth it, but it really will take awhile.

I hate him after chapter 10 and dropped the novel afterwards.

The Second Coming of Avarice is kind of a redemption story and it's off to really strong start so far.

 

I'm currently waiting for I a Demon Lord to update and it is indeed good.
