I was reading this Novel: Rakuin no Monshou. (Genre- Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Psychological, Romance, Seinen). I think it's a good Novel where MC starts with low status rising up to become a king. MC is strong and smart. He takes his revenge. I mostly don't like Romance, but I think this Novel have some good points in Romance. Action scenes are also good. It's just that every chapters are very long. If someone reads another Novels, there chapters are very short, which is liked by everyone. I have never scene anyone talking about this Novel. Most people avoid this Novel because of long chapters But, in my view it's worthy of trying. What's your view in this Novel ?
More like nobody is talking about it because the novel was completely translated years ago and any discussion has already been had
It's a good one with an in-depth story. Not focusing on romance, but the romance can be seen progressing slowly
A while back I tried reading this novel, but after a few chapters I quit. Don’t remember why. I’ll try to reread it again and see. Maybe it wasn’t hitting my taste at the time. IDK, but thanks for reminding me of this novel. I’ll try again
Might be because of reaaaallly long chapters. I also thought of dropping this novel sometimes. But completed it somehow. It was a pain-in-ass to complete reading this.
If you can stomach long chapters, this novel is great. Very well written. If you want to read another long-novel, try Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere.
Its one of my favorites and I even helped edit the later chapters. The first few chapters are by a different translator then the later ones and are a little rougher (in my opinion). I always suggest it when people ask for my top recommendation.
It is my fav, mostly because of how every single character in that novel can think by themselves and not moving just for the sake of "author asked me to move".. every single one of them tries to think by themselves, even villain are intelligent. The politics and world building are very well thought. The romance have that bittersweet taste in it. The only reason I didn't finish this novel is because at the time I am reading it, I catched up to the latest chapter and stopped reading it for a while to save up a lot of chapters to read later on, which obviously I totally had forgotten.
