It's a norm in my family to have a drink whenever we gathers together so I do drink alcohol such as whisky, wine, beer etc but I never really like the taste of alcohol for they tasted bitter to my non appreciative tongue. It's strange how I'm never drunk. I honestly don't know what it feels like to be drunk because no matter how much I drink, I'm still conscious of myself, no vomit or anything even though my face are red.
Drink it for couple of times but never end up drunk, just like lingering taste in mouth. Anyone here have experinced alcohol withdrawal and got cold turkey?
I was the same. Not the face being red, but that I was conscious of myself and wasn't nauseous. The thing I noticed was that my sense of time became weird. It felt like things were moving too fast. And if I wasn't distracted by something, it felt like the room was slowly spinning, similar to how people describe being on a ship on the ocean. And balance was a little bit worse, but not nearly as much as I expected from movies and tv. So I think maybe it effects different people a little bit differently?
yeah! it's fun. i don't get full out drunk but i like cocktails, gin and tonics, sake. i never drink in the us but when i'm in taiwan, the bars are real nice and i prefer the ambience over there more than here. also i can get home much safer than if i were in the US hah.

I havent drunk alcohol in a few years but i'm partial to an occasional vodka and orange juice if the mood strikes me. never been anywhere near drunk though.
The first time I drank alcohol was when I was 4 or 5 hated it ever since! Unless it’s basically just alcohol and my nose can smell even a drop of alcohol in a bucket!
Yeah me too i have never gotten that much drunk even after having too much I still don't know my own limit

I have never tasted an alcoholic drink Most that I have drunk are never fermented that much to have alcoholic content the most nearest will be the champagne that I have drunk.
I would say no even though I didn't know the canned drink was Heineken which I tasted as a kid when a lady tricked me. I drank lots of wine though
I drank a small bit of champaign back when I was a child IIRC? It's just something common in my family to give everyone a (very small for children) glass of champaign in Christmas to make a toast. After I became a teenager I started refusing the glass and just drank water or juice or anything without alcohol that was available.
I'm surprised how tame the answers in this post are I started drinking on the occasional night out with friends since I started uni. I only ever really drink alcohol if I plan on getting fully drunk, since if I don't then I just see it as a more expensive drink that tastes worse. I become quite cheery while drunk, but I've been told I do some pretty embarrassing things that I completely forget once I'm sober
