Why has noodletown suddenly fallen silent, now that I'm directly questioning his lies about Wuxiaworld having approached him? Why are you lying?

 

2) 40 for GDN cuz it has a established reader base, 35 for newer translators on newer novels
3) u like it cuz u think they r gonna keep it free forever since they dont have to pay the authors, and they can just keep the majority of the ad revenue.
4) its not all bout money, and some ppl dont like confinement. then work for WXW, lool idc im just stating truths.

6) self-defense so they could still make money from qidian authors without paying them. is that nice?
8) ITS MY HONEST OPINION! put yourself in my shoes as a translator rather. qidian invited me and showed their respect for my work by paying me money, WXW said they will just do ad-share but they are not going to pay a flat rate. If you are an university student trying to be independent, which side do you take?

When I was editing I'd spend an hour or 2 on each chapter, so if the listed rate was right, the payment could be as low as $2 an hour. That's why I was curious

If you are working for them, then this is pretty much bias on your count, though you can't really just keep saying that qidian is rich/loaded, your gonna have to eventually question where all the money coming from.
Just reading all your 8 points I say your very good at pitching and selling, but in the back of my mind alarms bells are ringing and screaming danger, sounds like those guys who are pitching those pyramid scheme way back when and trying to mask it in new endeavors in the here and now

So OP appears to admit to being a lazy, bad translator. That seems to be his own admission. He seems to find getting paid for that great. Well there's a shocker.

k i think i made a mistake, checked the emails it was GGP that approached me. But lets just discuss this point, if you were to approach a translator, what benefits would you offer? Cuz it seems like you guys wont take any risk by offering a flat pay, but rather just pay a % of the ad, which is the additional revenue they can get from the new translator. So no risk right?
