I'm PR, and apparently because my brother likes to take MC to skip class, my mum found out and told me that poly doesn't give PR subsidy... so that $10 is only for Singaporeans :blobwoah:
We PR pay the normal price :notlikeblob:

I have info on the Fahrenheit side of the body temperature so...
100 is a warning sign that you should rest.
101 means you better rest, with maybe a bit of self medication. Medical advice is better if possible.
102 means you need to get your ass to the clinic asap.
    For kids, I would say a 100 is like a 102

I don't think you should seek medical advice from a bunch of weebo kids in nuf. That would spell catastrophe.

PRs get subsidy too, just slightly less (like 20+% lesser) and if your income is low you get more subsidy. Your bro might have went to private clinic for MC they give it more easily.

You generally don't need to go for a doctor for a fever. Depending of its night or day (Fever tends to go up at night), you take a tylenol to drop the temperature. Now if it persists for a few days and is not improving, then you consider seeing a doctor. (Of course you should also be on the lookout for signs of it being another disease as well)

Don't go to doctor or hospital, they give you subpar medicines with high price so that you'll need to take a lot of them to cure your diseases. They'll even try to add some complications to your sickness to maximize their profits. They will sell you H2O as a cure for cancer while claiming that it's untested medicine under trial.

Go to witch doctors or shamans instead.

Don't think it's super low to the point we get more subsidy, but we aren't rich either... :hmm: Maybe, but I guess I can't be sure whether he lied about going to polyclinic or not. Still not $10 though :blobwoah:

    I have a kid,

If you go to a doctor for anything above 36 degrees, you ll live in a hospital 24/7, coz our temp average is 36.8... lol.

usually, it depends on how the fever goes, if it goes to 39, you take a medicine to reduce the heat. If it goes down to 37-38, you're fine, within 6 hours, check your temp and do the same thing. if you dont get better after 3 days, go to a doctor.
If you cant reduce your body temp no matter what and it stays above 39 even when you rest and take your medicine, you need to see a doctor immediately.
FYI, brain problems might occur if you hit 41 degrees in a prolong time.
    Hope you get better.
