Been receiving a sudden pop up saying this thing about google wants to access location whenever i open my phone data. I already tried the thing in the google settings about location and turned it off. But its still popping up till now. Anyone knows how to remove it permanently? Im using android phone.
describe "open my phone data." There are a couple of things that might trigger location request... Opening google maps, clicking on home button. Or you are tinkering with the settings related to location data. Other than those two, you have a background app that is constantly trying to get location but you blocked it beforehand. If this is the case, you need to browse through notification and running apps to check which one is causing this, delete the app. Any background app nagging for location when its turned off would have bad impact on you in the long run.
Can you give us a screenshot of what kinds of the pop-up? And since when you have that pop-up showing up? The cause might be apps that you recently installed.
Found this on the web (seems to be your problem ?): Go to your Settings Select “Location” Flip the switch to the “Off” position If you just want to save battery, just change the Location Mode to “Battery Saving” Go to Google Location reporting Disable Location Reporting and Location History This is the website
I havent really downloaded anything recently. Its been months since the last one. But this recent bugging was recently. Heres the screenshot. That message pops up even if i use messenger or even Opera.
