I generally skip through episodes as I watch with my mighty right button. A 23 min avg episode becomes like 5-9 minutes to me. I don't really miss anything so I guess it's fine for me.
only way I can stop at one is if the show sucks/it doesn't hold my interest. other than that....torture... torture might make me stop after an episode~ I will go out of my way to wait for something to have a whole season+ out before I watch it because I enjoy it a lot more and retain the info a bit better
Oh man, that doesn't work on me at all. It just gets worse. I'm like, "I don't have enough time anyway, might as well give up and escape my worries by marathoning this series and erase the stress from my mind". Let's just say it's the road to destruction. I've had to repeat exams, reschedule meetings, call sick for work... My hedonistic ass has this way of twisting priorities. Discipline is my antithesis. If I have things to do, I don't go near any potential distractions...
