Discussion How would you distribute your resources in a party?

Here's the scenario:

You're part of a party with 2 or more members. It can be just friends, families, guild members, your harem, your slaves or whatever. It just simply has to be more than 2 members, preferably more than 3. You're essentially in a different world, or virtual world but stuck there, where you'll be adventuring together. If you can distribute everything you and your party obtained, how would you distribute it?

(Including experience because "experience" is basically the equivalent of "magical ingredients that'll boost a character's level". As in, in some novels, you grind to level up and in others, you just eat a ton of stuff to level up.)

As a reminder, there will be some antagonist trying to kill you guys or something. Think of it as you and your party is the protagonists of a novel, not a party just playing in a virtual reality. So resources are important to all of you.

Feel free to suggest other options.

Distribute the items and experience. The items to those who can use it better and the xp to the lower level. If there is no lower level then xp is distributed equally.

 

i'd still go for what items should go to who. it's a party. you're more or less stuck with them unless they die which i assume anyone wouldn't want to happen to a loved one. so yea give whatever item should be given to who that is compatible with them. keep the rest stored so if ever you find new partymates they can have items too.

 

Ill divide the items based on compatibility then sell the left-overs and divide the money equally. If there are 2 or more players of the same job, draw lots unless the other will willingly give it to the other one participating in the lots. More like a Zhan Long distributing style

 

Divide the loot according to the the members compatibility of course. If there's an item equally useful to all I'd draw lots. Next time something equally desired by all is found, I'd draw lots again but exclude the one who got the previous item.

Yeah, I think so too. But I wanted to see if there are some Weed/Ark-like people and how far they'll go. And any that puts beloved ones over everyone else. Or just don't care at all. Loot is loot, if it's not the right one, then just sell and buy on their own times. So getting your exact share is nice as well, you can go buy the exact thing you want rather than waiting for the loot to come or finding out the reserves don't have enough. I don't know.

So what if it's not a loved one you did say it justs has to be a part of 2 or more people.

 

Then that option doesn't apply to you? Or just think of it as someone you like or your best friend?

It really depends on the resources, the skill level of the people, and how much effort they put in.

 

I personally like just arguing and drawing lots.

I mean, going by compatibility is also fairly forceful. It means, as a mage, if I found a dragon's egg, I can't keep it and must give it to the beastmaster as he'll make better use of it. My dream of riding a dragon is gone~

 

One game campaign i was in, i collected all the junk items that the other party members didn't want, and guess what I ended up the richest person in the party and had resources that outnumbered the next richest person by 4:1

 

I'll give my everything to my companion not resources... (♥ω♥ ) ~♪
