Like does this sentence even have an english equivalent meaning? Shed tears out of reflex? Lol XD Weird af Usually when we read English novel, people stubbed their toes and only described as 'cried out in pain'. Tears or not, or just random shriek, it probably got encompassed in the word 'cried'.
Reflex tears is an actual term people throw around. I guess it's just not awfully common? Tearing up from pain is how it's usually said. I've seen this translated as 'physiological tears' before, but reflex tears would be better.
