So bow before my greatness! Now that that's settled, let's go back to serious business. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-am-the-monarch/ This novel is a fantasy world do-over for a spearman soldier that made a lot of bad choices. With the experience of his failed life, he goes around winning battles and recruiting followers to make himself, you guessed it, a Monarch. Whether that is just another title for king, emperor, ruler or something more remains to be seen. Currently at chapter 29 and history is apparently already changing from what he knows. I'm wondering if the author is planning to make full use of the butterfly effect or just skim the surface. If the former, things are going to go from a do-over novel to a proper war novel, with unexpected situations and plenty of brain sizzlers. If the latter, then the MC will just steamroll everything because he knows stuff. Maybe i'm stretching it a bit, but it is similar to TTNH, with comedy, brotherhood and mind games, but from a soldier's side, not a cultivator. What are your views?
